Our Android app tracks how you spend your mobile time, works great on its own but even better when combined with our computer app.
RescueTime for Android works by noting how long you spend in your mobile apps and phone calls, reporting back to you your efficiency score, top distractions and categories right on your mobile device. There is a handy stopwatch tool for manually tracking things like meetings and exercise, and you can set the productivity as you finish it, without visiting the website.
Full reports and charts, along with goals and alerts features, are available via the web app, and integrate tightly with your computer time, if you add that.
Existing RescueTime users can easily add our Android app to their accounts for free.
New users, you'll get a lifetime free individual web account when activating your app. All new users also get 14 days of Pro web reporting mode, which then reverts to free mode (still very popular!) until upgraded from our site. Be sure to try the desktop / laptop app too. One account is all you need for as many devices as you have.

Good news! Website visits are now reported in browsers on Android devices. Currently supported browsers are Chrome, Chrome (beta), Android Browser, Dolphin. Firefox and DolphinMini are not due to limits in their design.
We require an email because that is our "user name", and it is how we identify your login across multiple devices. Your email is NEVER shared with anyone.
Our app should not be transmitting much data-- on a few hundred KB per day. If you are seeing more than this there could be a problem with your install. Let us know by email, we can track it down! (We are not aware of any issue for this in version 2.0.0.)

I like it except I keep having to uninstall then install for it to update my info. Sometimes it updates then it stops. Also the info is not saved in the app. It's saved online. The app easily connects you to the online account but I would like to see all the info that is saved online saved to the app.

Worked great until it started draining the battery (I now get 3hr/charge). App is hung and can't be uninstalled using Google play or normal system uninstall, even in safe Hi mode. By far the worst experience with an app I have ever had.

The best time management app I have ever used. It allow you to control yourself and reach your goals. RescueTime available on all platforms. Im used this on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome and Android. On the other hands your Android app's interface is not good as the platform. Lets make this app's interface more beautiful and add some features!

It has stop tracking my usage details on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 after either last update to MIUI9 or may be after your last update. Can you fix that? It is not syncing my usage details, Thanks.

This does an excellent job of tracking your time, but absolutely nothing more. That means, you can't access any of the website from in the app. I would immediately rate 5 stars if the app just included a webview of the main site. Why? I want to know have I worked enough this week. I can't check from the app, even though it looks and feels like I should be able to. And so after a frustrating search, I have to go to the browser. It's a small ease of use feature that would make a huge difference.

I installed the app hoping that it will track my time and give me exact figures on how much I use different apps, so that I can stop and check if I am exceeding the daily usage limit of the app. Everything was going all right, I used to get very happy by watching the way I was controlling myself on phone usage but one fine day I just wanted to use Twitter for an hour, I saw the time and continued for an hour. After an hour when I checked the time I spent on Twitter it was less than half an hour, I thought it will refresh, I waited for one more hour, the time spent on Twitter increased but it never reached 1 hour. I uninstalled the app within an hour because if you can't give me the accurate timing at the moment I want why should I use you. If the app developers have any response to this I would love to explore it again, otherwise tell me a reason why I shouldn't be using 'Quality Time' for tracking the time on apps. Thank you!

Thanks a lot developers. I have been using desktop version from 2 years, but this is the first i installed mobile version. And i am loving how it shows the time i am wasting on games. One thing i wanted to ask, is there a way i can remove Launcher activity to not include as an app running on phone.

Ive used it for 3 hours so far, while the app nav is easy the interface and display sheets leave much to be desired. Not as intuitive as I wouldve liked. It automatically documents ur time on the phone between apps ( Kindle vs social media) which is a plus compared to other apps in the genre.

It's a really nice app, I don't need to use my computer each time I want to check RescueTime, and I can track how much time I spend on my phone, but there is a bug. It doesn't work well with KNOX. I don't really need to track time spent in KNOX, but when I use an app inside KNOX, it disables some accessibility settings to protect apps running inside KNOX, but RescueTime immediately takes my to its settings. Thanks.
