Lincus won’t replace the need to see your GP, specialist or diabetes nurse, but using it as a tool to monitor your progress, it will help you improve your wellbeing and have better conversations about what works for you and what support you might need.

Background
Lincus Diabetes is a state of the art, quantified self app, specifically designed to help you track and improve your health and wellbeing. Lincus has been designed with you in mind, whether you are fit and healthy or have complex health needs. Lincus helps you track your life and learn what works for you (and what doesn’t) in an easy to use, accessible app. Lincus allows you to track self reported measures relating to wellbeing, record nutrition, activity and measurements whilst integrating with Google Fit. It also has reminder functionality to help keep you on track with wellbeing monitoring.
Lincus has been developed by clinicians, researchers and sport scientists from the University of Oxford, Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Portsmouth. The team have many decades of experience in the medical, human performance, academic and elite athlete coaching fields. Lincus Diabetes continues to be developed utilising the latest research and science.
Lincus is an MHRA registered, CE marked Class 1 Medical Device, developed by the medical technologies company Rescon (www.rescontechnologies.com). Lincus has been multiply awarded and has been published by the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence as a tool for behaviour change. Lincus is patent protected (USPTO 8941659) with multiple other US and international patents pending.
