It's been 2 years and there are compatibility problems with marshmallow

IPhone users seem to have many more options than android users.

Not enough options. For example: ability to sort students by grade.

Let's face it we are unfortunately working for schools that chose renweb over the many high quality grade books out there. Had computer issues the night before report cards were due and in desperation tried the app. Let's just pray the grades/assignments don't disappear like they occasionally do at work.

Renweb itself is quite possibly the most poorly programmed, least intuitive, and ugly excuse of software ever forced on educators since the beginning of the world. Anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to suffer the blight of renweb would undoubtedly agree that anything so teacher unfriendly HAD to be programmed by a room of drunk monkeys. "How can anything possibility be worse?" I asked myself. This app. This app managed to make something that is garbage to start with and make it painfully worse.

I have noticed that iPad users have almost ALL the same available features that a teacher can access on the computer. I am trying to completely transition away from my computer, but can't since android users seem to always be the last to get any updates (if at all), and always WAY later. Not everyone likes, or uses, apple products, but we shouldn't be punished by not getting the same quality of apps. I would greatly appreciate the android version of Renweb Staff available soon. I WROTE THIS REVIEW 2 YEARS AGO, AND IT STILL HASN'T BEEN ADDRESSED! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!!! :-(

Always says authenticating whenever I try to connect.. Please fix this.

The website is slow, and the app is even slower. You can't edit the report card on the app.

Talk about taking a step back in time. Not worth the trouble.

Almost useless when used on a tablet. Very limited amount of functions available, those that are there are very clunky and hard to use. Total lack of intuitive design, looks like a first year student's project. Hoping they make a real app for Android tablets that actually reflects the program's functions and intention.

If it were within my power to tell my school to stop using this software, I would do it in a heartbeat. There are numerous issues with this application, not the least of which is severely limited functionality compared even to the phone version of the iOS release. The android version looks and feels as if it were designed as an afterthought by someone who either did not know or care about Android APIs. It is slow, cumbersome, clunky, and does not even come close to serving the need it purports to. As a teacher, if you have any say as to whether your school adopts RenWeb for school management software, tell your school officials to run. Run away. The problems are not limited to the application, but this app is awful enough all by itself. I realize this is all rather harsh, but it is unfortunately richly deserved.

Design wise it is the worst I've seen in a while. Doesn't follow android design guidelines. The IOS app follows them very nicely but this just makes me sick.

Decent for taking attendance on the phone, looking up a grade quickly; but far less useful on tablet devices and almost worthless compared to the iOS version, which at least has all the features of FacultyWeb. Android version can't record behavior, mass edit lesson plans, email, edit report cards, etc. Shame as it could be far more useful, but RenWeb seems content to let it remain half-worthless and call it an "app."

This application is stuck in 1995 when compared to the ios app. Like seriously if u aren't going to support it or make improvements to bring both applications on par then why even have a renweb app for Android? Just to say that u have 1??? Lets get it together people

I would like to be able to do my lesson plans on my android like the ipad users can!!

1) the UI for this on the iPad is WAY better because it mimics the online version better; specifically, I would like to see the attendance move faster by letting me select one attendance code and then applying it to all the students who fit that category. As it stands now, I have to select one student at a time, and this drastically slows down performance. 2) There needs to be a "today" option for all date entries. 3) When inputting individual grades, the needs to be a "finished" or "save" button...

Can't find some features that should be part of a staff app, but does the other parts well. Maybe a better phone would make it faster, but it does the job. Would be much more useful if it could do behavior as well, but couldn't find any place to do that.

Some key features are lost with the upgrade. I can't view the directory anymore of the school especially when I need to contact a child I no longer teach but who needs a recommendation letter from me.

Atrix HD. Too many steps for simplest things. Terrible and non intuitive UI, like main website. Need to streamline to make grade entering faster for teachers. Takes too long.

Nice to have the convenience iPhone had had for so long. Makes it easier to check my lesson plans quickly and take attendence. Well done, RenWeb.

It's great to see RenWeb join the 21st century! No problem logging in and accessing school data for all our schools. Nice going. Already looking forward to the next version.

I agree with another customer who said they would give it a five IF it worked right. I am using an LG Lucid phone and it has locked up on me two or three times in a week. Reinstalling hoping that will help.

It moves slow if not on wifi. But very handy for regular registers. Would love to have the copy to other class feature in the gradebook section. Sometimes I enter grades for the same type of assignment for different classes. The feature is in the desktop version but not here.

Although late, it is great to have the convenience of RenWeb on my Samsung! Ease of usage is appreciated.

Atrix HD. Won't even log in. Says false credentials... not true at all... tried upper/lower cases. Nothing. Useless if won't log in. Update... it logged in. Has problem with case sensitivity even in password.

Super app. Can't wait for more

Long awaited app finally on Android. Thanks to the Renweb team the app is continuing to improve. Thanks for the updates.

Improved functionality.

I have to kill the app and log back on a few times a day. Why is the Apple version so much better? Much more usable.

Great app. I can take attendance and lunch orders without being at my desk. I've waited over 2 years for them to have available for androids. Well done guys!

It works fine but is a kinda odd mixture of iOS and android look and feel. Looks more iOS app at first but then popups and menus are holo ui and it's kind of a weird mish mosh . 5 stars if the app is done with the holo ui even if it could only support android 4.0+.

This app always crashes at least once before working, sometimes crashing the whole device. Their web app only works on ipads or firefox. No ie or chrome on pc, and only on browser with apple, no download app. Extremely frustrating! Useless, but required.

Will not allow me to stay logged in without locking up and getting an error code. The only way to get out is to uninstall from device. If i could keep it running I would give app a 5. Using HTC Evo 4G.

Not sold on this app yet. When first installed, it works great. However, I couldn't open the app for a second time. It just kept "loading". I uninstalled it and tried again. Same thing. Disappointed. Really wanted it to work

Still lacking several things... But overall, good!!!
