AnyMote Universal Remote + WiFi Smart Home Control

I cannot figure out how to combine remotes. I am trying to use it with Alexa and she will not go back and forth between devices. I give command for tv and she tells me there is no button that says that on direct remote, and vice versa. The same with the audio receiver. The app on the phone screen works great though.

Connects to the echo dot no problems, when you use the echo dot to perform verbal commands e.g. turn off living room tv. I have changed the name of the remote to living room tv, I ha e tried adding a command and assign it to the remote but can only practice via the app, the command will not save. Waste of time, try to add a second remote and it wants to charge you £6.49!!

It has potential.. I can use my echo and my echo dot with it. I like it because after you watch a few kids shows on Netflix it stops after a while so the kids can tell alexa to play.

This is the only app I found that works with my TV. It's great, easy to use, you can custom remote color themes and more. Overall I'm happy with it! Lost my TV remote like last year and I love not having to get out of bed to perfect the volume of my TV! Would recommend

Paid for the full version so that I could add other remotes only to be told after I bought it that I now need something extra called anymote home to get it to work. Total waste of money

It doesn't allow you to turn the TV on which is a pain and it keeps saying reconnecting and refuses to connect to my smart TV 90% of the time. I have to reboot my wifi, turn everything off and restart my phone for it to work. If I wanted to get up, I'd just use the buttons on my TV. You need to do a bug fix and until then I have uninstalled this app.

This app doesn't do what I want to do which is fine. However all attempts to contact the developer and get any kind of feedback whatsoever resulted in nothing. In today's market if you can't even get back to your customers you're a terrible company.

The remote is easy to use however the connection between remote and my echo dot is frustrating. Alexa is constantly telling me my remote name is not found or there is no button. I'm so confused. But the remote itself is very helpful alone, especially when my toddler constantly loses the original remote.

I think you guys should add program guide support like peel remote has... i like peel, but they have a monthly subscription to remove ads, and the ads that peel has are too intrusive... you guys are way better...

Did the paid upgrade to PRO, but after having to reinstall, I no longer have access to PRO features. There seems to be no options in app or any help provided for this. Emailed the developer but have had no reply. Waste of money ????

Great app! Easy to use with a good UI and concept. Even though it didn't support the remote I was looking for, only because it's to a 14 year old stereo that is of a generic brand, it is still the favorite app I have found so far for remotes, even better then the remote app that was pre-installed on my phone as bloatware...????

Either Im very smart technology inclined or this app is confusing. Im saying it confusing. Once I get the hang of it Im sure Ill enjoy it alot more.

It was easy to connect to my sound bar, and it's easy to use. However it keeps popping up at random times, and when you tap on the little bar that appears at the top of the screen when in use it doesn't take you to the app itself.

Only lets you create one remote before being required to purchase the full-priced version. Also, way too many full screen advertisements, that play at your current set media volume... Which, if happens to be loud, will startle you and wake up people who are sleeping around you. Also, the full screen advertisements autoplay.

I am a user for more than 2 years, And I bought it with anymote home unit. Since beginning of 2018, I started to feel that support and bug fixing are getting longer to answer issues. When you spend money in a product, you expect at least to have a proper support from developer when you complaint against bugs.

What I like is how the community is allowed to contribute to growing the database for the remotes, rather then being locked out. Definitely will pay for pro whenever I get the chance.

Closest ive gotten to work with my tv. Not perfect but it does whats needed

The app works well. Adds a remote in the drop down menu. That is easy to get rid of however, and is very nice when you are using the TV. Sometimes it has troubles with my Samsung smart tv (2015). But with my Toshiba it works very well. Also you can use Amazon Echo or Google home to control the TV through the app on your phone.

I use this app on 3 different TVs and 3 different amplifiers and although it doesn't necessarily have the exact buttons as the original remote it does the main functions. Also miles better than any other remote apps I've tested

So pleased this works with Arcam alpha (first model very old) saved me £30 or so as that was how much one was when i last saw on eBay and they're rare Thanks so much!

Can do a lot more than other apps. Best thing is working with IFTTT, that makes it even better.

Got my TV, Foxtel box, Home Theatre and Aircon controlled from my phone using this app. The remotes and be generic and you sometimes have to fine tune things using the original remotes but once set up the basics work just fine and is much more convenient.

I like it but only one problem at one point it will keep on saying reconnecting but a little while after it works again

Only one I know that works our Baird TV Edit I now have a SONY KD-55XE7002 and SONY XPERIA XZ PREMIUM on Android 8.0.0 your app finds the tv no problem but when I try to connect the pin required doesn't appear on the tv any ideas?

Just does not match with UI of exact remote but It does it's job very well ✌️????????

Not bad app needs a exit opp. Can't see app running all the time. And same with the auto boot.

Really impressed with this app. It has allowed me to gain (some) control over my rather vintage Meridian preamp. If the developers could include full control of series 2 meridian components, this would be a solid 5 stars!

Note 8. Developer is unresponsive. Write several emails asking clarification of their instructions with no response. Will not pay for app if developer wrk not respond to questions. Instructions are vague and out of date. Online photos do not looks like latest app menus. Can not find Broadlink IR blaster devices.

I have downloaded ALL other remotes for insignia TV this is the only app that was honest, didn't go straight into ads, and told me what component I needed to proceed also gave an alternative way to do so! Thank you

Would have given it 5 but it didn't have my model and have to use several different model remotes to get my tv onto what I want it on but I get there in the end!! The buttons on my tv are broken so have no other choice!

Great app for samsung smart tv's. Take your time & don't get fustrated. Gotta introduce commands first before use'n them.

Horrible - totally a nightmare to set up. Paid for the full version, which made it even worse.

App stopped connecting to my Anymote Home and the developer has not responded to any of my emails over the past few months trying to rectify the problem.

I think it's a pretty cool app anyway I would've given it 5 stars had it enabled to simultaneously connect 2 smart TVs and just switch from one to another for control..other than that concern, it's a ????

No way will I be accepting those terms!!! READ WHAT YOUR AGREEING TO BEFORE YOU ACCEPT AND USE THIS APPLICATION! !! EXPECIALLY READ #4 & 5 *THEY STATE THAT THIS APPLICATION IS "UNSAFE AT TO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" *your agreeing that that anymote can steal anything they've laccessed also there the third parties and legally make it there's regardless. Witch could be anything, the collect and use personal user data things like messages.

This app has great potential and flexibility However, could you please add remote for Godreg air conditioner (it's available on other remote app) also is there a way you could integrate wifi switch for ewelink smart switch

Ok figured majority of everything out. However I know what could potentially be added....maybe a time schedule for things to turn on? And the delays on the macros need go be fixed

simple but very functional..simple is what i wanted. I'm sure it will do far more than I need it too. good job:)
