Remo Duplicate Photos Remover

May be unfair to give it 2 stars, it's currently running in the background on first scan, and that's why only 2 stars, I figured I'd be given options BEFORE a scan, restrict it to a folder etc etc, but nope, I'm gonna have to wait for it to scan through bout 50,000 pics, I'll modify rating if it turns out to been worth it, but seriously, a landing page with options for "full scan" or "scan by folder/s" would been a more common sense approach...

It's an excellent way to get rid of multiple pictures. I love it!

Garbage app deletes both copies lost all my family photos no trash eather to restore them

I had more dips than actual pics. Another app didn't do it n it's a 4.5 rated app. This app cleared almost all my duplicates in a matter of minutes. I also like choosing between exact n similar photos. I used the exact n it worked perfectly. It's quick easy, n does away with only the duplicates

Edit: I take it from your reply: Yes, i know it is free and whether it does a good job it is up to the users to judge. But this is beside the point! WHY should it ask for permissions only for sharing with friends???? The new permission is way too intrusive and dangerous for privacy... the sharing on a social network it does not justify it. People should be warned about this. I do not proceed to this intrusive update and shall warn other people to do the same. If it persists I shall uninstall. Old comment: Why does the new update need access to wifi information of my phone???? Answer this and could get a better rating!! Until then I discourage my friends and anybody else in app market to install this app: don't accept intrusive apps on your phone!

Seems to have found the dups between sd folder, and root folder. Not certain, but I wanted the internally stored files deleted, leaving my SD photo folders intact. I believe it did just that.

Works incredibly well. It was really helpful when I was consolidating my photo backups into one place. I couldn't be happier with this app!

It was great not having to personally go through every duplicate myself. Woulda given it 5 stars if it werent fot the fact it took hours to delete them and several restarts.

I Love this app. It works great,for my same photos. Because, when you share on messenger,it will get rid of all the extra ones,I don't need.

I save too many exact pics to be sure I have the best ones. It results in having too many exact/similar photos, using too much space. This program took care of my overload in a few minutes!

I was disappointed with this app. Yes it found duplicates in camera and SD card, but I really need an app that will go through google photos and find duplicates there. I know I have a lot and I have too many photos to flip through.

Liked it. A little annoying that it kept insisting on showing me previews while I was trying to mark items for deletion but very good app.

Didn't work, would not delete selected duplicates. Most attempts to select photos resulted in opening the photo instead of marking them for deletion.

WARNING !! this app has a flaw in that it selects the the most uncompressed, larger, higher quality version of 2 similar photo for Deletion, this is a MAJOR MAJOR problem and this app should be pulled immediately. Thousands of fake reviews and this product is far from anything useful and zero options for which of the sets of files should be kept. Beware

Awesome app that saved a lot of time and frustration. It also has a very simple layout and interface.

If only other file formats are included that would be even more brilliant, so far no issues yet, great job!

Only negative I've found so far, it doesn't cache the results. If it closes for any reason, you have to start all over

Actually seems to do what it says. Quickly. Accurately. This is my 4th attempt at getting a program to remove duplicates.

Liked it. But I wish I could choose to delete from sd card or phone? Instead of it choosing for me?

It selects the photo perfectly,but i cant delete it it says to grant permissions and i found some errors...please fix it for above 5.0 os versions

Not bad but it's very slow. Afer all you're dealing with large numbers of files by definition
