I think this app was definitely required. Great that the remitr team has solved a problem for us ! Few things to be highlighted i. The rates are comparable to any other exchange and time to time the the rates offered are much better . ii the fees are only 10 DHS per transaction compared to offline exchange houses . iii the convenience to transferring money in a few clicks is just great . iv may be some work needs to be done on the improving the performance of the app.

I made my first transfer with Remitr last Dec 29 2016. With 2 days bank verification-the bank needs to verify the payee (in this case Economic Exchange Center before adding it to my bank account's list of payee) and 2 days holiday in Philippines, my wife received the amount on her bank acct on January 2 2017. Plus points Remitr sends email confirmation on each step of the transaction. Whatsapp messaging from the Customer service is very helpful. My first transfer was free of charge!

Have used this app to transfer money to India few times. It usually takes 1 day for the transfer and I get the money next day.
