Send Money with Remitly

Very very poor system and information for registration... if you using first time then before sending money send them passport copy and address proof, then call them and verify with them after that try to send money otherwise you will be crying like me and other below, my money suppose to reach at 5 june, also receiver received text that money will be in account on 5 june but actually reached on 12 june, 7 days late... if you will not contact them and chase them then they dont care. Customer advisor are good but system is look like not good.

Remitly Sucks in meeting the time promised. I used it 3 times. First time my transaction went into pending for document review. Remitly shows me a message that documents will be reviewed with an hour. which actually too 3 days. The other 2 transaction were also delayed by 2 days and 4 days respectively from the time mentioned on the receipt. Contacted the customer support multiple times. Nothing happened. please don't use this app if you want to transfer money for some urgent need. they will make a false promise on time and will not care about it. Contacting customer support is useless- they simple don't care.

Customer service ask you to bend backward for them. I never had to deal with such non sense to simply send money internationally (and I used two other companies of that type in the past) never had to send photo of my driver's licence, photo of my credit card statement from my bank, email of my bank account statement in pdf format by email to their customer service .. Absolutely ridiculous!

It keeps on updating transaction time. I have been told for the 1st time transaction it would express and funds will be transferred in 4 business hours. It has been 2 complete business days and funds not yet transferred, when I called up to customer service they told their customer partner was not responding, but that is not our problem. No wonder if they say funds will be transferred in hours and it takes days to finish.

Guys stay away from this and they simply hold your money for days and days, I had to send money to India it's I use this app and got this job I did not use my middle name as it's optional in the UK, but first time I transfered money from hsbc to them one day later they cancel my transaction and said to me that my bank name not matching with the remitly account, so I send them email with my passport copy scanned and another one day later I had to call them up to see what's happening why my account name has not been changed and after spending 30 minutes on phone I managed to get my account name changed, so I managed to place another order and guess what second time the same situation I transferred money into the account and one day later I had a message saying they had to cancel my transaction because the name is not matching again. This company is making money on the interest because everytime you transfer money to remitly, they keep the money for 3 days before returning back to you. This company is scam and stay away from it. They used honey Trap by giving you unbelievably good exchange rate and they never fulfilled the order because they'll keep cancelling your order and keep the money for as long as possible. Use other companies and save your hard earned money and time as dealing with remitly will only give you stress, pain and waste of your time and keep your money for as long as they can and toy won't get anything else from them.

They suck in keeping their timeline, sometimes, they delay by more than a week. They just say, they are waiting for a response from their partner bank, whom they can contact only through email and they won't give details about their partner bank as well. So, it is impossible for you to do anything other than just endure the delay. Horrible system!

Its very convenient to use, most of the time the funds are being sent instantly. There were just a couple times when I had to wait for over 6 hours for the funds to arrived.

Don't use it they refused to send my money and I ask for refund and they lock my own account don't waste u time with this app

Best app found so far to send money to India. Express rate deposits fund within 30 minutes. Very stable and reliable service.

We used it in UK ...transaction cancelled after amount deducted from my account . Customer service said because I initiated it on weekend so they cancelled it

Bad, not recomended they cancelled my remitance and have to wait 48 hrs before I can get back the refund not even my fault..

This is verry good app""the best to send money to mexico..and secure i recomend this app to my family and frends for shure...

App is good for sending money but the exchange rate is very low after 2 sent.

Best application one can have for transferring money to other country. Their chat team is best, they are ready to help 24×7. Once they help me out when i got into some problem. I can say, your money is safe when you transfer through REMITLY.

I used to be a fan of Remitly and I've referred this so many friends, but the recent issue with them has laid me down to uninstall this app. I would never ever use this app n would never refer this anyone because of their unethical behavior.

Best application so far. Were using this app since we got here in Canada. Hoping if we can use this app to send money anywhere in the world like in the US, Europe or Asian countries

Worst customer service. Especially Micheal from their so called customer service team. I never had an issue sending money from my US account to my local account before. Wheter I'm currently traveling or out of the country. Locked me out of my own account. Cancelled my transaction immediately. Unbelievable. Try using another money transfer services. They'll just waste your time. Promises Delivered? More like promises never delivered.

The worst app ever I sent money to Mexico and they asked for a lot of personal info . And my family hasn't been able to get the money and neither have I got the money back

After you remit your money they will ask for so many documents.... this application sucks....

Remitly themselves have good customer service and I was always treated kindly on the phone. The staff never hesitated to do anything for me. However, it seems one of their back partners, Metrobank, does not have good systems and continuously have us problems. Even though I paid for an express transaction it seems the bank had no idea what they are doing. Until Remitly gets more reliable partners I will not longer use this app.

It was the worst experience possible. My money never got sent and the customer service was the worst! They did not help at all. They never even tried. I will never use this service again. I will stay with Xoom which I have never had an issue with.

Most pleasant experience so far across all available money remittance services. In my 1st transaction, I got exact exchange rate and transfer to India completed in 10mins flat.

Great company after first transfer. Most people don't understand they are great after the first transfer.

This is the worst company to send money i had choose express they took the money of my banking account less than an hour i cant even canceled because its in process if the money wont be express they should not have that,, just stay with Xoom,, better place to send money,,
