HOW TO USE WI-FI TALKIE:
1. Connect an existing Wi-Fi Network or create your own wireless network based on a Hotspot* of your phone or tablet, using “Network Manger” of Wi-Fi Talkie.

3. Now you can use full functionality of Wi-Fi Talkie!

RANGE OF WI-FI SIGNAL:
The range of Wi-Fi signal depends on a hotspot and connected devices. Usually the range is not more than 50 meters (150 feet) indoors and up to 150 meters (450 feet) outdoors.
WHERE TO USE WI-FI TALKIE:
• Now you can communicate with people in previously unavailable places: airplane, train or any other long-distance transport, forest and mountains, stadium, concert hall and other public places where a cellular signal is weak.
• Wi-Fi Talkie is also well suited for communication within a Wi-Fi network of your home, office, school, university or dorms.
(*) If you create a hotspot while your device’s Internet connection enabled, then Internet tethering (sharing) becomes activated.

Great app, can you add support for Avatars? Can you add multi-user voice chat? I think that one of users will be host and before call select users to chat.

Tip: if you increase the audio bitrate to 44.1khz, the audio drops out less. It's counterintuitive, but it works for me. I suspect it's because that's the native bitrate of the device.

Good app for talking over your home lan WiFI tested well on andriod phones with 2.2 and 2.3 on tablets with speaker the voices sound slow almost sound like frogs.. and deep sound im wondering if its a speed issue or new API as these tablets are ICS 4.04 and dual and quad cores? perhaps someone can confirm with their tablets or tablet to phone and phone to tablet?

The sound quality with Wi-Fi Talkie is actually much better than either cellphone or landline sound quality! File transfers work well and are very fast. only issue is that sometimes text messages never arrive, but this seems to be rare.

I'll say it again. Awesome app Buy this app its worth every penny . If you are a tradesman its a great asset. Use your wifi router as a repeater which will boost your signal

Please help. Everything working from the phone but when paired with Bluetooth the mic is not working. I can hear the other party, while on Bluetooth, but they can't hear me. Using Hauwea honor 8. Big bummer, paid for app and can't use it.
