Range Buddy for Android
Changes everytime, group sizes are now near corret at all. Looking for anothe app to use.
Quite a few bugs and crashes. Seems that w x h are sometimes switched. UI is rough and laggy. Would be a great app with some polish.
Very difficult user interface, both poorly designed and ugly. Once UI is learned, results are good.
This would be a good app if I could change the session settings and not lock up when I tap the save button.
App started out working great, however about a week after install there is no longer a decimal button on the keyboard when trying to input the caliber(inch)
It's a little clunky, but everything works.
Great app, I highly recommend it. Makes gathering data very enjoyable.
it seems pretty good but for the life of me I cant figure out where my saved data goes? Better directions needed for sure
Good functional app but there is a learning curve. Continue development as the app improves.
Like this one! Was looking for this kind of app for a while.
Just getting ready to give bad review when I got it to work. I didn't and don't see any directions or help. What the app tells you to do is pretty vague. But if you mess with it and get it to measure it works really good.
The picture won't ever focus on the paper so can't see the groups very well. When I adjust the scale then the bullet size doesn't match up so the group says it's way larger than what it actually is. Calibers show a group measuring just over a half inch but the picture shows 1.17" junk app
This app worked and then I stopped after last update all of the buttons disappear once it was opened
It's takes some poking around to figure it all out but a great app
Bought the pro but was dissapointed and had it refunded. It could be a good app but needs work. You cant close the app as the icons are missing. I will buy it again but first fix it properly, i dont pay for crap. Sorry. It hang up and ou hve to force a shutdown.

Totally unusable. Freezes/stutters on my Samsung S7 when in the setup section (very frustrating). Hard to use interface, a on screen instructions would be helpful. Took a wile to figure out how to setup the measurement reference size. Not sure I trust the calculations even setting it up. One grouping it showed the magenta line which was longer than a inch, but the calculations showed group size of 0.7 inches. If the developer works on it more, it does look like it can do a good job. Update: I played with the reference length a bit and if I reference 1 inch it would give me the wrong values, but if I reference 5 inches, it would give me more believable answers.. Because I got it to work, I found the software OK. Hopefully the developer can work out the bugs and create a better manual for the software. I would easily give it 4 to 5 stars if the bugs are worked out.
This could be an awesome app if the freezing / jumping issue were fixed. Its annoying but still works well enough. Instructions would be nice.
I used a three-inch Targ-dot for reference at 200 yards and the results were accurate compared with some Vernier calipers. Good tool.
Latest bug fix works well .. Now using a s7 edge
Hit Your Mark!
Let's me calculate group size, but has some issues. The icons/UI are difficult to interpret and non-intuitive. The camera is also broken. Had to manually enable camera access (Android M), and even then the image is reversed and inverted. I have to take photos with my main camera app and then import them.
Unable to take pictures with galaxy note 5. Nothing happens when I press the take photo button
Can't take pictures.
Great app and getting better.
It won't let me do anything just crashes
App crashes whenever I try to import target pics
I wish the program would locate rounds and create data. Never the less, I decided to pay and support the developers.
Needs a little work on the interface and a better tutorial. I also would like to know where on my phone the images are stored so I can copy them.
But the interface is just atrocious. Please make it better!
Crashes when loading any photo previously taken with the phone's camera.
Fun to use once or twice, but too much work to keep using. Target scan is getting closer to an every day shooting app. Combine these apps and you might have something great.
Clunk clunk clunk goes the interface
I really do like this app so far. It does what I need it to do, but recently experienced some crashes when putting in new target pictures and trying to pull up the results again. The picture isn't there and when I tap the edit option, it's stops working. I little work on the user interface would be nice as well. Overall, this is very handy, and with some details worked out, I will use it all the time and give 5 stars. I'm using an HTC DNA.
There doesn't seem to be an option to add photos of targets already on your phone.
As soon as I take a pucture of my target the program crashes. Usless without this function.
The application relies on taking an image at set distances and calibrating circles on the screen to a 1 inch diameter object or circle on your target. However, the application is unable to show the camera image properly and its distorted along one axis, nothing like the clean images in the description, or the clean images the camera can take. No idea which axis is correct to use, the long, or short axis, or even if those axis' are correct. When the image is take, the picture is displayed right, but may not be at a correctly calibrated distance. But after this, the app either stopped working, or just gets stuck randomly. I have yet been able to save an image or data that was calculated. and everytime the app stopped working or is stuck, it must be killed with another app that can stop applications for you, or in your settings. For instance, clicking on take image, will just not do anything, or after you take an image, and try to enter data, the app stops. I believe one can get through the app if the session data is set first, but, the app won't save any info. I am running Motorola Moto G on Android 4.4.2 I hope the developers sees these comments and fixes it for all a a

Pretty good once you get it figured out.
