Lakota Vocab Builder

After downloading the app, I tried to download the vocabulary. Would not let me . Says check internet connection. There is nothing wrong with my internet. Don't waste your time with this app.

I get up to an advanced section with coversation tools and the spelling section is not recording the results. There should be a way to uninstall and install without losing your progress.

Can't access anything. It keeps saying to check the internet connection. Ugh

It really works and is accurate, considering I speak fluent but it's the only way others can learn!

How can I learn to pronounce the words if I can't hear them

It's a good app!

Clear audio, and pictures make this easy to learn via flash card style learning. Only problem I have is the level unlock system, I can't choose what I want to learn, and I can't skip sections. I'm forced to learn food, fruits and veggies, body parts, animals and tons of other stuff before I can learn colors or numbers. I just want the ability to skip to sections I'm interested in learning so I can learn at my own pace.

I can't access pronunciation. I obviously made sure the volume is turned up. When you get to the listening portion, nothing. I can choose an answer, and can hear the "wrong answer" tone. Please advise how to fix!

Good pronunciations of words and memorization segments. The spelling parts seem a bit unecessary given just the way they're done and how you're trying to learn the words.

I am learning, and it is at a way faster rate than when I was only learning by speaking to Lakota speakers... ( only because my exposure to Lakota speakers is limited)Now I am getting to speak more because my vocabulary is expanding.. Although I'm told I really need to concentrate on pronunciation.. Lol

I like this program. It's a good program. I would like it if we could change English words to the pictures. It's hard to train my brain to think in the language when I have to translate from one language to another language to the idea.

No replacement for talking/corresponding with other speakers but, other than that, a fantastic app

I downloaded, it has a bar to click to load the vocabulary, but nothing happens...then it says "check internet connection" - I'm at home on my Wi-fi...what's the deal?

this is a nice and wonderful and great app. you can learn Lakota words by just playing. you can do that whenever you have a free minute. and it's really fun.

Happy to start to say simple sentences now. The app is good on getting you to memorize the words!

Even the free version has a lot of usage for learning basic words!

I purchased the pro version. Most bugs have been fixed with the most recent release. I found the exercises a convenient way to learn and practice common words. The audio is particularly valuable to me, because there are few speakers where I live. My children enjoy using it on their tablets, too.

I seriously love this app. It fits my learning style great and really helps me stick words to memory. I love tackling a new category each night...but I was having an issue were it would repeatedly stop working so I thought I would reinstall it. Now I can't download the words
