Infrared Remote for Roku

Downloaded and from.the start worked flawlessly. I have an at and t samsung s6 active and it worked great!!! The other apps need wifi etc and much harder to use.

Left my remote at home when i took my roku to another house. This app was simple to use. I downloaded it and point my IR capable phone towards the device and it worked. Note that the review says this is posted using a Nexus 6P which doesn't have an IR blaster. I used this app on another phone.

Love it, I left my remote at home but could still install my roku on another wireless. Its the only one that i found that let you install on a new system. Thanks for a great product! Has great features that my roku doesn't have. Now if I travel internationally I don't have to have my remote. Thanks great product.

I've rushed to judgment to often in the past and extolled the virtues of one product or another before doom befell me.. So I will simply say.. So far, so great Update: As I said, I wouldn't rush to judgment, so after some time and usage.. THANK YOOOUUUUUU! This is exactly what I needed when the Roku remote (via WiFi) app would not recognize my device.

Definitely a nice replacement for the physical remote. It would be nice if you had a "keyboard designer", where you could create virtual keyboards to match each application's search keyboard.

BRILLIANT! Works like a charm. Especially if you have a Roku without the ability to connect via Ethernet cable and don't have the remote for whatever reason. The other "Remote" apps require you to be on the same network, which I couldn't connect it to without a remote in the first place. Only "CON" is the keyboard.. I mean, I get why it does it. But it can be a hassle. You have to have it selecting the character in the 1st row/1st column, so that it moves correctly through the keyboard in order to make the character selections. All in all though, I LOVE the app. ALSO* check out the Windows Store App for ROKU. It's just as useful and has a remote built into it as well!

Saved my life..I don't have a place in the back to connect an Ethernet cord so I was done without a remote

If the keyboard function worked, it'd be five stars. Still a great, lightweight app though.

According to the help page this only works if you open the app in the Roku and then select the keyboard. What about just having a keyboard for the Roku itself going through settings setting up the Wi-Fi etc? If it's not possible to control the Roku that way then that's the first thing that should come up in settings so that people don't feel misguided.

My original remote kept falling apart until it was beyond repair. For the last 3 years we have been using a wifi app to control our roku 2 hd. We recently ran into a major issue when my network changed and was unable to set up the new network. I tried everything. Contscted customer service and was told that I needed to purchase a new IR remote. Tried several different ir remote apps and nothing would pair up. Thankfully, I came across this IR roku app and it worked!!!! Thanks for this app.

I thought every roku app out there was wifi. I just ordered a replacement remote. :(. I had lost my wifi and needed to reconfig. Impossible without an IR remote. This brought my roku back to life. Thank you sir!

So easy to use. Install, open, & worked with no set up needed! Yippee! Works perfect...my roku ir remote broke, great replacement...no problems. Couldn't use any of the others as my roku is "hard-wired" & not connected thru my wifi. Thank you for this great app!

Broke my remote, and my Roku 3 isn't in range of the my wireless router. To use the Roku Remote App by Roku you have to use WiFi to connect with the Roku. So either I had to buy a new remote or something. I found this and it works fantastic. Zero issues thus far.

I have always used my wifi remote until i went to house sit. Well i couldnt even connevt to set up a new network! oops! But this saved the day!

I tried a few apps before this one and they didn't work very well. I lost my Roku remote in a move. None of the other remote apps had all the features of the actual remote, but this did.

Without this program I would have to buy a remote or a new roku, because my wired network has a different IP address scheme than the wireless. Sam Sung Note4

This didn't work for my N1101 or my 2100X. Luckily I found my remote and used another app to learn it in case I lose the remote again.

I downloaded the app because we have 2 Rokus and 1 remote. I've found that this app is a perfect match for my GS-5; I especially like the menu that allows me to go directly to most of the movie channels and other Roku channels. Plus, only $1 to remove ads!? What's the catch? As far as I can tell, there isn't one! Peter Mosaad, you're the man!

Great program. Better than the wifi remotes that are useless when you reboot the Roku.

I NEVER leave reviews but I had to on this. I LOVE whoever made this app. You are a life saver! I was able to connect my roku to my network at my new house without my remote and now I don't have to buy one! Thank you!!! My family and my sanity are forever grateful! This mom can now relax! :)

So simple by using only infrared. My remote won't work at all. This saved me. Thank you to whom ever created this.

Works great. Sometimes changes orientation unnecessarily but I'm sure that's my own fault.
