REI Snow Report

A convenient way to keep up on conditions of the local resorts. Would rate a 5 but snow depth consistently conflicts with other sources.

This stupid app almost swayed me to not go to copper mountain twice however I went and both days it snowed 10 inches ! Their website had different slope conditions listed so I am not sure where they get the information from .

Sometimes a day late to report and not necessarily what the resort is reporting.

Here I am, sitting on the toilet and google asks me if I'd like to review this app. Usually I say "screw that" and dismiss the notification as fast as it comes up. But today is the dawn of a new age. I look at reviews all the time and give them weight when making decisions. So we're in this together. Me, reviewing an app while sitting on the toilet. You, making a decision to download a free app. The app works well. Only downside is it doesn't refresh automatically and you have a finite number of favorites.

Samsung Galaxy S5 receives notification 2 resorts have new snow. Open app & says "No content available" on each resort listed. Please fix.

It is good looking app but it does not work for my resorts. It keep saying the last report was two years ago. If it does not update its data I'll have to uninstall it!

Sure it shows you snow but always too late. Like I care what the snow was yesterday. Cuz I missed it! I want to know ahead of time. Every day the app will say expecting 1" of fresh. Low and behold it was actually 11“! Gee thanks. Some forecast. App needs actual future-casted weather!

Season is approaching. I know resorts are opened but this app hasn't made any current updates

App has no info even though I know some resorts have snow!

I love this app. I've been using it for nearly 5 years now and it's a major part of my snowboard trip planning. Love it.

I use it to check one resort, and it's simple and fast. I like that if I want more details, the link to the resort is right there.

Tried to find traditional November's Siberian powder... And hahaha there's no single resort according to this app...Add at least Sheregesh

Timely reports, but only as good/accurate as what the ski area provides them.

Best app ever, very easy to customize the notifications. Alarms go of every day for me to chose which mountain to go to. UPDATE: Couple years later, still works great.

The snow report always pops up a day late.

Best way of knowing which slopes you wish to take to. Keeping on top of where the best powder is. Wish they would update more often.

Lacks intuitive edit for favorites. How do you remove a favorite? Limits favorites to 15. Why limit perusing pleasure on slopes within driving distance.

Doesn't update and appears to be just an app with the REI name behind it. 7" of snow last night and the app shows nothing. Uninstalling.

I wish REI had fixed user reports instead of removing them, that was the killer feature for me

The app is ethically pleasing and along with the standard weather info, it also provides trail maps, contact info, etc. Notifications are a neat feature.

Says that there is 1/3 less snow than what the resorts website says.

It is not timely enough.
