My StepCounter: Easy Pedometer for Android
I love the simplicity of the app. It's all I need, but now I can't find it to load into my new phone.
Doesn't always count steps correctly and appears to freeze
Very poor.does not accurately record steps
Great tutorials on your blog led me to this gorgeous and simple app. And I'm actually keeping an eye on how well it tracks. Cool little project and an inspiring project to get you going with Cross Platform C# Xamarin development. 5/5 Not a Toy. :-)
So far, so good..
Thanks for opensourced example of great technology, James
I have been using this app since August and I've liked the app so far. It's simple and tracking seems to be working reliably. However, I think it would be nice if the step history was longer than just 1 month. Maybe 6 months or so would be okay. Also, one good feature could be the ability to save log files of daily steps for permanent conservation of data and data handling (with Excel, for example).
Stunning ui and animations. 5 stars if u make swiping left opens "history" and option for metric system.
This was the worst app I ever used. It does not read your steps accurately. I dumped his app. I will stick with my S Health (it came with my Samsung Galaxy 5 S)
Provides wrong figures of distance covered in km.Every day different figures for same distance. Uninstalling it.
Counts steps day by day. Keeps a history. Counts calories.
It work grate but dose it start over every day
Very useful
Worked OK for a few days then went rogue... Recorded 33,783,450 steps in one shift!! Had to reset app... Lost all history.:-(
Don't work apparently I've done 44 steps while sitting down and phone being on the side sort it out an day give better rating until then it's a waste of time having
I can stand still and it starts counting. It shuts off by its self.
Needs to be able to reset the counters.
No way to calibrate. Says I did more than actual.
Great
Its simple and to the point. Just started using it and love it.
Very simple and easy to use.
Awesome.
I really like the simple design and it just does its work. But it drains my battery like crazy.....so I had to uninstall it. And it stops dropping like that. I'll definitely come back to reinstall it if the issue is resolved.

This is a phenomenal little pedometer app. All I need to know is that I walk enough every day. I know where I walk and why, but getting my 10K steps worth needs a little help. This gem does just that. Would bet nice with a step length setting and data export (to Dropbox) option, but it's great as it is. I just hope the dev abandon it but keep it fresh and updated just like I am by using it.
