Gesture Launcher places a small icon (looks like a hand) on your screen. You can configure the location of the hand. This icon will be there no matter where you are on your phone. Tapping the hand will let you start drawing your gestures.
If you don't like having the hand on your screen at all times you can also add a Gesture Launcher shortcut to your home screen. You access this from the regular Shortcuts menu. Using the shortcut will start up the gesture input.
You can currently add Applications, Shortcuts and Toggles to the Gesture Launcher.
Current Toggles:
Bluetooth
Wifi
Vibrate/Silent
Permissions:
This uses the permission "CALL_PHONE". If you add a shortcut to a direct dial it will not work without this permission.
Wifi permissions: Needed for the wifi toggle
Bluetooth permissions: Needed for the bluetooth toggle
Vibrate permissions: Needed for vibrate toggle
Planned Features:
More toggles like airplane mode, brightness and auto-rotate
Backup and Restore capability

...any app with swipe gestures. Tried using it on top of Phone, Messages, DashClock Widget....all failed. With only 5 minutes to test an app and get a refund, you'd better make it simple, easy and work the first time. This one didn't for me.

I dislike the positions of the icon, no status bar? PLEASE add gesture sensitivity. We dont all use the app the same. Continues to return to old apps.

I actually find this app fun to use. It's easy to set up; easy to use; and does not break your rhythm. I tried Swipe, which is great but it's not friendly to big thumbs and made me feel rushed. Power Strip seemed to address that issue, but it's just too buggy on my LG Optimus S and I had to give up on it. But, this app really does the trick. I like it.

I found android tedious with too many clicks swipes and scrolls to do simple things like open calendar or call home. now i gesture for immediate launch.
