iBobber for Android
Glad to see that Ibobber works for Android... should have said something on the box because it ONLY works for iPhones waste of my money
This product sucks I tried to connect with my HTC BOLT 10 EVO it gets disconnect by it self for 30second and get connect by it self and this product is not useful
Useful app imo. It put me on the fish a couple of times
After the firmware update stopped working....now its a paper weight
Does not work with Android!
Worth it's weight in gold
Worked great till firmware update last summer. Talked to guys on how to fix and needless to say it's a 100 dollar paper weight. When It worked it was great but now shaking my head.
10 stars for super fast support! I had to put it in water in order to successfully update but support was super fast and walked me through it! I really like this device, now I wish I had the latest model with the noisemaker!!!!
The Bluetooth sync issues seem to be sorted out. The temperature jumps from 100 to actual temperature then back. Using on a Moto Z Force. Don't like the global plotters screen. Battery life is good on the iBobber, but will quickly drain the phone battery.
Just a littel hard to get it going but still something im in love with i know is going to get me going
Does what its supposed to do. Have had no issues with it.
A lot of people want to write this off as a gimmick but it is a great tool for bank or boat fisherman alike. It's not all about "finding fish". Yes, it lets you know if fish are physically there but you can also map out the bottom to see structure, depressions and even weedbeds. Structure = fish. You can cast this into spots a sonar from boat cannot go. Buy it, you wont regret it.
I tried to use this ice fishing. I don't think the unit likes cold water. It works for 30 seconds and then I get "I bobber out of water" warning even though I am looking at it sitting in the water in the hole. Unfortunately received as gift from Dad. Hate to tell hm it sucks.
Pros===>Battery life is excellent depth finder seems to be working good as long as it's over 5 feet deep water temperature works perfect fish finder works great. Cons===> 100 foot range is a bit stretching it. Wish it was a little bit more accurate on fish size. Would be nice if Graphics were a little bit better. Overall====> slightly overpriced for what it does but if you find it on sale it's worth it I enjoy using it it helps out with fishing I would buy again.
Maybe its my phone or i have a defective unit. I took this to a local pond, synched it with my phone, and casted it out. Within seconds its showing a depth of 5ft with fish at 1 and 3ft. As I'm reeling it in it keeps showing the same depth even though it was clearly in 1ft of water. Next I tried the mapping setting and go less than stellar results as i am reeling it in this time it passed through some lilly pads but didn't graph them. I'm not sure what to do yet however I'm leaning towards a refund.
Im an avid fisher and i spent hours using this and it dose not work. Returned mine.
I blobber
Edit: come on people, read the instructions! So fun. depth not exact every time, but I don't need exact. New updates are nice--tide table info is great. Seeing reviews from people who definitely didn't read the directions. This thing comes with me every time. Battery life is great, just have to remember to turn off my other apps.
For all u so called fisherman, if u read the instructions don't put it in the sink a bowl or a fish tank no less than 4ft of water actually it's 5 and deeper fish finder is the same I've been using it since I got it in June 2016 works excellently.
I enjoy it every fishing.
I put it in my fish tank that has one fish and it said there was 10 fish 20ft dwn but my tank is only 3ft deep. It also failed to update, saying I need to atleast have the bobber 2ft near my phone to update but it was right next to my phone.
Just bought this as it was half the price of the deeper gadget but i am very pleased so far. As soon as i got it i charged it up to full then placed it in a sink full of water in kitchen. Then i connected my phone to it and installed latest firmware. I took it out for its first venture and it was very helful . Where i was fishing was known to be weedy but this showed me where the clear spots were and where the shelves were for me to fish.. this will be with me every trip.
The software for it is completely garbage ok well that maybe a little harsh but I know that I'm not far off by saying that it could definitely use some updates and a less cartoon style down scan is what I'm quessing that they were trying to mimic but it was showing tires and bricks as weeds and the bottom as being flat when I know that the bottom is very well not flat. Tried mapping the bottom of the same spot with it, it was a little better view of the bottom but still cartoon like and garbage details.
The best gift I ever got. Fishing, turned into catching!
Estou no Brasil e comprei o iBobber em Toronto no Canadá. Após fazer FIRMWARE não consigo mais sincronizar via Bloetooth com meu celular. Me ajude a resolver este problema.
The iBobber will no longer sync with my phone after the firmware update.
Fun to us
Placed the ibobber in a pool and it was showing me fish on this app. What a ripoff. Don't buy.
See before I buy is it seriously worth getting
Well done and worth every penny.

I put it in a little water feature pond in front of my house. It actually shows fish. Only thing is I have no fish in it......... am I using it incorrectly or is it just bs.
The app can be a real battery hog, sometimes is uses more % while not in use than some apps or games actually running. Should have weather forecast, not just on the day only, same for lunar calender info. I'd like to create a trip log afterwards, u can only creat a log for today and not edit the date. Also it pop ups a message to turn on bluetooth while not using the app.
Bobber never turns on when I use it, tells me firmware update needs to be installed which takes forever and everytime my screen turns off it cancels the update. Charging a hundred bucks for a beta version is b*******.
The app should have a smoother flowing bottom. The depth is usually off by a foot or 2, and the device doesnt always sync properly. I would not recommend this device.
It disconnects from the app under 100' the fish on screen is probably my bait. It's not all that.
Mine looses it connection all the time and miss reads depths and fish and wont take the firmware upgrades

The idea of it is cool, although I feel it lacks some necessary detail. A more clear scan would make this tremendously better. I tried switching back and forth from the sonar screen to the fish screen, and any random dot above the floor is considered a fish, and at times it would show weeds where there clearly weren't any. The depth seemed decently accurate as I cross checked it with a map of the lake, but as far as what it considers to be fish or structure, I am skeptical. I would like to see the ability to change the frequency to get a better picture. There is no advanced feature to twerk settings, and I think that would be great. Does better on boat then on shore, as I didnt have to cast it, and it stayed within 5 feet from me. Casting from shore, it disconnects past 20 feet. Overall cool idea, but I think I would go with a different product.
