About eSpeak TTS Engine - RedZoc
eSpeak is a compact open source software speech synthesizer that supports a large number of languages. eSpeak uses a "formant synthesis" method. This allows many languages to be provided in a small size. The speech is clear and can be used at high speeds.
This is a port of eSpeak to Android for 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and later (including Marshmallow), supporting all 79 languages and accents of eSpeak TTS Engine.
This port of eSpeak is built on the eyes-free version. It fixes multiple issues found in the eyes-free version: Fixes crashes on Android 4.3 and later versions, Lot of customization options implemented like eSpeak desktop application, and Various memory leaks and crashes are fixed.
The eSpeak source code is licensed under GPLv3+ by Jonathan Duddington.
The Android port is derived from the eyes-free port by Google under the Apache 2.0 license. Additional modifications have been made by RedZoc Team, also under the Apache 2.0 license.

Liked it; 1. Pitch, speed? , volume controls make it better than older eyes free app. But some improvement is required as when changed to hindi as system language because numvers I. E. 1234etc are spoken as 0. 96

I don't know what this is supposed to do, except crowd my screen with ads, but it does nothing else. It doesn't convert text to speach. The most weirdest thing is that it asks to confirm my payment card even though it says it's free. Quite dodgy and suspicious.

This is S.A.M. - one of the first speech synthetizers - Atari 800 XL version. Ads are annoying. Nostalgic but deleting.
