This is the battle app for Pokémon Go and other Pokémon games that you need.

Figure out the best Pokémon to take into battle based on a weighted algorithm that compares both of your Pokémon's types against both of your opponents Pokémon's types. Compare up to 3 Pokémon at a time. Don't waste time when preparing to attack a gym or battle a friend. Get the data you need for the advantage, fast.

Think you know Pokémon well enough? Sure you do. You definitely know that Charmander beats Bulbasaur. What if you are trying to decide between Mr. Mime or Magnemite to fight against Scyther? You probably have a good guess. You can definitely work it out for yourself, but ain't nobody got time for that. You have to beat this gym before the other team powers it up, and you have Pokémon to catch. This app instantly compares 3 Pokémon at once on a 32 point scale to determine which Pokémon has the greatest type advantage.

Different types effect different Pokémon's differently. They could have no effect, be not very effective, have normal effect, or be super effective.

This app takes your first Pokémon's type and compares it against the other Pokémon's first type, compares your Pokémon's second type against the opponent Pokémon's first type, compares your Pokémon's first type against the the opponent Pokémon's second type, and compares your Pokémon's second type against the opponent Pokémon's second type.

That calculates your attack rating.

But... that's only half of it. Then Battle Adviser does all the same comparisons, but flipped, to see what your defense rating against the other Pokémon is.

By looking at these 2 calculations we are able to figure out what the very best Pokémon you have for the current battle is. This information can also help you decide which Pokémon to evolve, or to trade for with friends.
