BOOT/RECOVERY: Use this tool to unpack/repack a boot/recovery image. This part is built on top of osm0sis's Android image kitchen but added support for some MTK devices. You can use "dd" or apps such as "Flashify" to flash image back.
SYSTEM: Make sure you have root and a loop device enabled kernel to make the magic happen. If the system image is a sparse image, the app will try to convert it to a raw image in the same directory and then mount the raw image; if the system image is a raw image, the app will mount it directly. You can use "dd" to flash image back.
EDITING: You can edit plain text files with the built in file editor or your favorite file editors such as "QuickEdit" or "DroidEditor". You can also view images from the built in image viewer or other viewers. If you want to edit image or binary files, you need to first export the files out and edit them with other apps. "HexEditor" has a limitation which prevents my app from sending binaries for direct editing.

Karliv Image Kitchen (pc linux app) repacked the same image/kernel combo with no bugs. Flashed with no problem. But when I repack with this app, boot.img does not work.

This app improperly uses scripts written by another author. Use at your own risk! I experienced data loss with this app. Would not recommend anyone use this app.

Nice app. I mounted system.img successfully but when i press 'unmount' button, it says "unmount fail, make sure no other application is using the working directory."

I was able to re-theme TWRP 2.8.3.0 for my Galaxy Victory 4G LTE and reflash it It worked on the 1st try!!! Thank you. This apk rocks!!!!!!! Gonna be brave and play with my kernel.... hopefully it will work too. Promising for sure. If it works on my boo t.img I'll give it 5 stars. Works on InsanelyCool kernel (3.0.34) also updated to TWRP's busybox to 1.26.2 YDS using AIK.. ★★★★★

Every time I try to unpack I get Splitting to /split_img Error! Oh well, guess I have to stick to mkbootimg and unmkbootimg in the terminal.

I unpack working recovery.img and repack without modification to test whether it working or not but it stuck in boot logo that means it has problem in repacking please fix it. It is really amazing app. KitKat 4.4.2

system.new.dat file is a compress data of system folder of lolipop ,marshmallow rom.i nees to extract it but it reqired pc,which i don't have for more information search it on xda!!!

Till now I had to use my PC to unpack my boot images or use the ugly apktool with mtk support for unpacking images but now I can use this !!!!
