State of the Air for Android
GPS red button gets stuck will not allow any further functions. Must uninstall and reinstall everytime. Last uninstall today.
Would like to see air quality by city name or zip code. It would help when travelling and zip code is unknown. Also allergen counts such as pollen, molds, grasses, trees etc. In essence anything that affects breathing at home or on the road...
This has helped me be better informed when I should avoid the outdoors due to air quality
Location for zip code is wrong. Uninstalling.

Much appreciate this app, especially since my wife has COPD. The app gives the main two stats -- pollution particles and ozone in a quickly grasped format. Would be even better if more localized for very large cities (by main suburb groups perhaps).
no updates since ancient times
It took me to a different town after I input my zip, I guess it doesn't have my town, tried to change the zip for a different town that is close but it wouldn't let me change.
Today is Wednesday 12/10/2014.The app States that it is 8/24/2014. That is absolutely disgusting. How can I trust the report of the Air quality if the date isn't even correct even though I can see that the air is disgusting as well as the application. Ena
Wouldnt be hard to have a map maybe some animation. Better off goin to air now website, way more accurate for your location. This gave me a 50mi radius and im outside that radius
So there's an ad in my local mall for this app, yet it cannot provide me with air quality information for the same city it advertises in... Does that make any sense? Useless app to me.
It has no map, but does reflect airnow stats per my zip code properly. In Las Vegas, there are 11 sensors throughout city. So, when you go out... you often have to go across town etc. This, is why a map of the city would be great as a tab. Just embed a link to airnow's map would be a band-aid fix. Good overall. Thanks
This app is good enough for what I need. In the us there is just no reliable app for measuring or keeping track of or predicting air quality. Of the ten apps I've tried this is the most reliable.
Put in zip code and gives you city 20 miles away. Totally different results compared to website. Missing results. Useless! Sad since you probably have plenty money to be able to design a decent and useful app. It is what it is.
The reason why I stay in house
I plan to use this app every morning as part of my daughter's asthma management plan. So glad the Lung Association has made this tool so easy to use.
When i typed in my zip it put a city thats over four hours away. How can it say thats my areas air quality when it doesnt even locate my area within a resonable distance. Also i know where i live has horrid air quality. I live in factory district. This app needs more pinpoint accurecy.
Works great, nice to have this info handy. But it would be really nice to have a widget so that air quality info is more readily visible, or perhaps a notification setting for when air quality hits unhealthy levels. Then it'd be 5 stars.
Wonderful app I will use to schedule my outdoor activities. Adding an hourly forecast would raise this to 5 stars.
It opens to a black screen and does nothing. HTC Rezound.
Only shows # of particles in the air. So what are they? Need to see what they are, and how about a map?
The air alerts and ability to contact Congress are great!
Have little kids, air quality is essential.
Not working.. Infuse
I don't live near a big city so this is worthless. Neat idea but only ideal if you live in a major city.
Doesn't cover where I live.

Doesn't rate air quality for my town
Does not work
Very Accurate! It's great to be able to know what the air quality is in my city and other U.S. cities.

I couldn't check my area
Keeps constantly force closing. Was a pretty decent app, not anymore.
Great app
I see a number of reviewers complaining about inaccurate information in this app. When I compare this app's data to actual readings in my community, they are dead on. You can get confused if you expect the apps real time readings to match the daily FORECAST - they don't. Real time readings are not the same as the forecast (much like the weather.) To see real time readings, I go into my state's Department of Environmental Quality site and go to the MONITORING page, NOT the forecast page. That shows me a map of several monitoring sites, some monitoring particulates (PM2.5), some monitoring ozone, and some monitoring carbon monoxide (CO). The readings vary slightly by site, but I have figured out which sites are the local sources of this app's readings, and IT IS VERY ACCURATE. Right now, the air quality forecast for today is 50 for PM2.5, but the reading at the monitoring site is only 28, which is exactly what is displayed on this app on my phone. Of course, it can only report data from WHERE THERE ARE MONITORING SITES. No sites, no data. Before you criticize this app for being inaccurate, educate yourself! This app does exactly what it claims. Those who say it doesn't are confused.
Asthmatics need to know what the air quality is each day. Having a mobile app that shows the air quality using GPS is a great idea. But the worst thing that could happen is a air quality app that says the air quality is Green when it is Yellow or some other color. I checked their website for my location and it shows the Ozone = Yellow but the app shows the Ozone = Green. How sad, how irresponsibile.
Just downloaded. live in slc we have lots of smog. Wanted to see what the air quality was right now because i wanted to go on a Bike ride. tons off smog probably half visibility but the app says its green and low pollution. Hard to trust that
This app has never worked for me. Even after refreshing and reopening, still gives me nothing.
It's good to be able to tell when to breath outside.
