The Red Cross Connection is an app that makes this happen. It lets you be part of a network of volunteers with a purpose: to reach out to blood donors and help raise blood donations, ensuring that enough blood is available for people in need.
By downloading the app and connecting with your Facebook account, you’ll receive alerts when blood is needed to help save lives. Even if you can’t donate, just click share to spread the alert among your friends and family.
One blood donation can help save three lives. But by donating and sharing the alert, you can start a chain reaction to reach potential donors, saving countless more.

Issue with in app Barcode scanner. It gives a camera error after pressing 'Scan Now' Button. I'm using Oneplus Three. Android version 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

It does not synchronise with Singpass account and is not able to reflect my donation count to date. Questionnaire cannot be filled up via the app. Pretty useless app that does not add real value, in my opinion.

Have been using this eversince its 1st launch. I had it uninstall and RE-INSTALLED is ONLY because I had forgotten my password and EMAIL on step-by-step instructions to reset took too long to be received in Email inbox even after many tries. Love the new simpler interface of the app. Could improved further- my Donation tracking DOES NOT TALLY. I have donated more than 9times(shown in app). Yesterday 25/5/2016 is actually my 28th Donation. If want to do a tally, should do a proper tracking from 1st Donation.

I am loving the user interface! It is so straightforward and tracks my donations (even giving me reminders). My favourite part is scanning my donations, who knew this function existed! We need more apps lile these - apps with a purpose.

Should have real account of donor and able to check past donations and check next eligible donation date. Better if can fill up the pre-donation also. Can tag to singpass for security reason. UNINSTALLING till it be able to do some real stuff....
