InstaQuote: add text to photos

I'm not tech savy, but this app has everything I was looking for to create memes with all kinds of different looks. It has all the fonts, colors, text placement options, etc. You have to pay for advanced options like backgrounds & to not see the instaquote watermark on your meme, but it doesn't cost much and it's worth it.

I recently bought a new phone and in my old one, I had purchased the PRO. I wanted to restore what I had unlocked, however it was still just giving me the free stuff. I contacted the app developer TWICE and no one got back to me. I don't want to pay for it more than once if I can restore purchases.

I shouldn't have to keep paying for backgrounds and fonts I have already paid for, just because I got a new phone. Furthermore, the app was acting up. So I uninstalled, then reinstalled it. I see I will have to pay a THIRD time to get the backgrounds and fonts. Time to find another app.

I am able to create images not only for Instagram but for my other social media sites. If you are using for professional reasons spend the 3 -4 bucks for the full version its worth it.

I am quite unhappy that this app has disappeared from my tablet. It was bad enough that I paid for the full version but it did not extend to my phone. And now the app has disappeared from them both. Can it be restored to the upgrade I paid for? I used it quite often. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!

I really enjoyed using this to make fun little images with captions. I even upgraded so I could use all the fonts, but now it won't let me use any of my own photos so it's useless to me. Have sadly uninstalled

I used to love this app. But for some reason when im about to make something a stupid ad pops up wvwry 5 secs i cant do anything please help

Free version features: Watermark, 5(?) background choices, one font. So it's ONLY useful to see if you want to buy the app, it doesn't function well as a free app at all (A watermark AND ridiculous limitations? Give me a break). The types of pictures they encourage give people cancer anyways, not inspiration.

Cannot change background anymore from a gallery image. Please fix this. I'll give you 5 stars again.

I installed Instaquote and allowed my creativity to flow using my own pictures. I updated my Google photos and now my images will not appear on the backgrounds. I can still use the default backgrounds but it's not the same

Charged me. Had watermark on all images. Upgraded to get rid of the watermark. Still there. Wouldn't save text to pic after upgrade. Waste

Best 4 dollars ever spent! It's simple. It's easy. No photoshop, No stupid layers, No vectors, or smart objects. Just a small but powerful program that does what it says it does! Awesome! In the next upgrade, it would be great if you could create multiple text boxes ^_^

This app is annoying if you do not buy it. The ads and prompts to go pro are too many and the features are very limited in the free version.

After trialling this app and then realising the impact something so simple and easy can have, I purchased the pro. Could not fault it..for what and why I use it for - awesome.

Downloaded the app to find out that you only get 6 or so free fonts and about the same number of backgrounds. What a joke. Seriously? Get it together.

I like it but im not impressed that i bought Pro and I t wont restore my purchase. Could use stickers too!

I love this app and the ability to add your own backgrounds. My only gripe is the lack of fonts to choose from. We need a better selection! I would pay for the privilege to use fonts we downloaded, but can you also update the selection for those who may not have money? Also, another suggestion is to have more text manipulation options like adding a shadow (embossing) and tilt rotation. Thank you!

FINALLY! Found an app where I can add text on picture, BEST OF ALL, I can write more than one or two or three words! Easy UI & not a ton of memory used. For a FREE app, you cannot get better than this. UPDATE: OKAY, SO IT ISN'T ALL FREE! THEY GOT ME TOO, WITH PRO VERSION, but if are looking to write beautiful quotes on you're own photos/background, for a price, I highly recommend this app. UPDATE 2016; it's great to see that when I 1st used app it was at 1000Downloads & now, look! WTG DEVELOPERS!

This app has proven to be a tool to create countless sayings, comedy and amusement. The only limitations is one's lack of imagination. From expressing romantic ideas to being able to create situation specific humor amongst friends and coworkers, this app will bring bring a smile to anyone's lips. It also can be a resourceful tool to highlight visual key words or terms for work meetings or homework assignments.

Yes This the Coolest app, I tried to unlock Pro but it wrote "Failed to init in app billing".. Plz help me with this ,i will rate it 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Using Nexus 5, been having issues using custom images for backgrounds. The app won't let me use the images, is this a known issue?

Why u guys give watermark in image. Much better app available and they r free no need to purchase. I m going to uninstall right now bcs i am not ur advertiser. Shame on you money minded people

The app is useful when u use their background, but can't use own picture unless you take it with camera. I'm a paid user. I sent an email about the issue. No response. Very disappointed.

I converted from an IPhone to an Android and the photo editing features for the backgrounds are not available even in the Pro version. You are not allowed to use the blur, contract, hue, saturation features which gives your backgrounds a variation of looks. Epic failure in not offering those features to Android users!

1. Need more beautiful fonts for purchase. 2. Use background for font layering is badly needed. Unable to find it though mentioned here...

please fix add background from galery. i use nexus 5. and adding additional text box, adding icons and edit template text when post. i want change this "Made with @instaquoteapp #instaquote" to my own template

There are only a few options for backgrounds on the free version and it seams like all the good tools that would make this app worth it are only in the pro version.

Easy to use. Creates great images. Would love to be able to add a watermark or logo to my pictures.

I am a premium user. Paid for the top package and used to really enjoy using this app. Then I got an iPhone so emailed Red Cactus to ask for assistance in transferring my membership. No answer. I tried seeking out any other contact information outside of the contact form in the app. Nothing. For two weeks, I tried every three days to get any sort of response for this issue and I still have not heard a word from this developer. After looking around further, there are much better Instagram quote generators and I recommend using them (better looking memes, better fonts, better backgrounds, lower pricing for better value.) Red Cactus obviously does not care about their paying customers.

You have choice of 2 text sizes, 2 widths, can't adjust text around a face/structure-only allows to cover it up. This is great on solid backdrops only. W/Text in place, you can't really see complex wallpaper anyways. Dont pay extra for Pro wallpaper-better ones can be imported. Good for $1.99, not for the extras I thought I would be getting for $4.00. Can't do larger pics, either...like banners. It's a good program for basic things but not for my intended purposes. Placement of text is everything.

The 50+ fonts advertised exist only when you purchase the pro version. Without the pro, it I exceptionally basic, with only 6 or so font and background options.

The backgrounds arent bad just kind of boring. I like bright and colorful, and I'm sure I'm not the only. There should be a stickers you can add. And all sorts of random playful stuff. Even sexy!!! Go outside of the box. Sorry about the complaints, think I've got a right since I bought it.

I have a photo editor on my computer. You're charging money to unlock stock, royalty free images. Your watermark is too big. This is about as insulting as you can get with this kind of app. Garbage.

I love how this app helps me to get out the message that other can't or won't comment on. I love to be able to inspire to lift up others in defeat. I am glad there is Instaquote who helps people like me to help out other who dont want to lift their voices up.

I absolutely love this app, I promise that this is the app your looking for, all the other apps say that you can create your quotes, YAH...you can create your own quotes, using their selection of phrases they keep you limited. InstaQuote let's you use your own thoughts, your own pictures, and you have a great selection of colors, fonts and they also provide pretty backgrounds. I use this App all the time...they could add a couple of things...1. like a place to save what you create. 2. Another option for setting up your quote to your selected background 3. The ability to add or not add a title. Tap that install button and express yourself. I read reviews, before I install apps if you believe any review believe this one and go for it, what's the worst that can happen...you don't like it, if that's the case uninstall it but i bet you won't uninstall. My only gripe with this fun to use and easy, efficient app which I use for poetry posting to IG is the quality degradation when posting. If you use the share button in Instaquote, quality drops big time. If you save then upload, not as bad but still noticeable. Wish this was fixed or improved.

My friends tell me I should put some of the advice I have given on posters or something like that. So now I'm doing that with this apps help.
