About StackAnywhere

PLEASE NOTE: StackAnywhere is no longer being updated. StackExchange has published its own official Android app with full write access, which will be a better option for most users. The only reason to continue to use StackAnywhere is if you are running an older (pre-4.0) version of Android that is not supported by the official StackExchange client. As such we have removed the ad-supported Silver Edition of StackAnywhere and made the ad-free Gold Edition free for everyone. Thank you for your support.

See website and FAQ for more details.

Every time you open the app it is like you are using it for the first time. By that I mean that it doesn't remember which sites or tags I like, so I have to manually search for them every time. For browsing new questions though it would be very helpful to be able to shortlist your favorite SE sites and tags on some sort of "home screen." It does not display math properly for sites that uses it such as math.stackexchange.com. I imagine that doing so would require supporting the mathJax extension in the app, so I am not too surprised. The user widget works well, and is the best feature of the app. I would really like the ability to combine all of my SE accounts into a single widget though, instead of having a separate one for each site.

Never has crashed, love the UI. Just wish it had more of 2.0 API. Wonderful app.

Too costly. Better alternatives are available. They have not implemented promised features.
