Volume Lock Control

I tried this app some time ago and had a few minor issues. Since then improvements have been made to make this the best app that actually works properly, starts back up when phone is restarted, is easy to figure out and use and has a pretty good interface. I use it on both my phones currently and love it great job

A little tricky app to use for controlling the volume for devices but still gets the job done. Just have to fix some little specific arrangement of functions then it's ready to be a perfect app. Nevertheless, this has been very useful, and also, it's so small in size that it's just less than 1MB.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The LG G6 changed the volume buttons to the side and I hate it! That's what got me hooked on the LG phone is the volume on the back. I keep turning my phone volume down accidentally and missing texts and phone calls. If you use the button on the side with this app and locking everything it jumps back up to where you set it. Again, this is exactly what I was looking for!

I've had this app for little more than a week, so I'm no expert on this yet, but I have had nothing but positive experiences with it thus far. My volume on my s7 Edge would randomly decrease, which caused major chaos when I would workout, or do chores around the house or even when I was just relaxing at the house. It's not perfect. It doesn't stop my phone from turning down the volume completely, but it does combat this by forcing the volume back to where I want it.

Great I had issues with my up and down volumen button . Kept placing my phone to safe mode all the time and my call notifications in silence. it was a headache to turn safe mode off. But with this application I can lock volumen up and down and I can even restarted my phone staying off safe.mode. . I am so happy!!

WAY UNDERRATED, this is the only vol lock app that will actually allow me to keep it locked at vibrate. All others still allow the button to change it to silent and FFS I JUST NEEDED TO KNOW WHEN I GET CALLS WITHOUT BEING LOUD ASF. Thank you so much devs!

With Volume locked it allows to change from speaker mode to vibrating mode, which is good, but doesn't allow to change to silence mode, which is not good. It has the good thing of hiding the app from main menu.

Be sure to white list this app so optimizing programs do not shut it down. Also Sliders Do Not Display Properly when phone font set to large - Galaxy S4.

Does exactly what i need. My problem was the volume key kept getting pressed when in my armband case while running. This app keeps the volume stable.

Doesnt lock volume at all. Experimented with various settings and still allowed volume changes. No other volume apps onboard or conflicting apps. Instructions might be very useful!

This one seems to work - I haven't lost my ringer volume since installing it, unlike other 'locks' I tried. The instructions aren't clear about the use of apply on change and the lock icons between states, so one star off for that. But I'm going to get the paid version anyway now.

My 2 year old figured out how to change to the volume while it was locked with out going into the app. With the app installed and running he could change the volume with the swipe of the screen by just holding it in the position he wanted for a few seconds. I might just be asking to much of the app but the entire purpose of downloading it was to lock the volume for my 2 year old.

...but what with "states", "modes", "volume streams", "padlocks" and "ticks", it is in vital need of a manual/user guide. Also it seems to conflict with the profile change app I have (simple sound profile). Takes priority rather than accept the new profile as the newly locked values. Unfortunate. Also an exit button would be nice, rather than have to force stop it.

Im using this to prevent the phone from turning down the volume while I work out. It does it perfect every time :)

Used to work fine but since last android update the vibration mode doesn't stay on. It switches back to mute. Really annoying.

Locks the ring volume just like I needed. This functionality really should be built into phones.

This app is very finicky on my Galaxy phone. I only want to lock the volume so when I slide my phone into an armband it doesn't get changed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure it out.

Try another app

one suggestion that it recognize that the device is moving so that the plugged in state would two modes one for driving and one for charging @ home

Great for locking music volume. I had a problem with placing my phone in an armband ; the volume always shot all the way up because the side controls are so fiddly. This fixed the problem. Very happy with it!

This app worked for what I needed at first but somehow, my phone (galaxy s3) got past it. No matter what volume I put it at, my phone always tries to go to the maximum volume. I reset the volume in the app however my phone did not agree with this and decided to keep going to the max volume. It(my phone) at times will also keep changing my ringer volume.

I still accidentally change the profile using the volume buttons

This is it, no more volume problems with missing my alarm clock , being late for work is not good, thank God

This app has been on all my phones starting with the Galaxy and now on my Note 4.

My 3 year old plays rhymes at the loudest volume at alllll times. So I wanted an app which renders the volume buttons useless and the volume is locked. This app works well.

Tried others but apart from a paid App, this is the only one that works on my Galaxy S4. Disabled my volume key to prevent me accidentally tuning down the ringer. Easy simply interface. Good job.

My phone's volume key has got an issue which makes it increases the volume every now and then... It's quite troublesome specially u have to be in a lecture room :P.. This app keeps it lock so now I can be safely put my phone to vibrate mode, until I find time to go get fix this

Can't fault and use on previous handset also without problem

I have a annoying problem with my phone, my ringtone volume always gets changed wen I change my system volume and it a pain...

It does not work as I wish. The volume up and down buttons still change the volume even when I have all 6 locks locked. If I inset my phone into my belt holster wrong (volume controls down), the bouncing when jogging will turn my volume off. I want an app that will disable the hardware volume buttons on the left side of my Samsung SM-G900P cell phone.

This app rocks I got a new phone with the pretty big screen and every time I would talk on it my hand and thumb what turn the volume off now it doesn't move unless I go in and move it freaking awesome love it thank you
