Garbage!!!! This device was basically vaporware! Don't support Recon, they will leave you high and dry!

App will not pair up with goggles even though the phine and goggles are bluetooth-paired. Really buggy software. Poor support, simply copy and pasted what was on their website.

I've had 3 pairs of these goggles since I bought the first pair about 3 years ago. The first and second had to be returned because they didn't charge. And now I'm having trouble with the 3rd pair. Not charging to start with (which I've now fixed with no help from Recon) and now the screen is very temperamental and I'm unable to connect to my phone. One minute it's so fuzzy I can't read it and the next it's got ghosting all over it. Such a waste of money! I've not had a full days use in 3 years.

No issues. Having trail maps live and direct to your face is quite handy in new places.

The main value to this app compared to tons of others should be in seeing the music in the HUD and seeing the buddies again on the HUD. With MOD Live updated to ReconOS 3.1.1 (latest for ReconOS), I can't manage to see buddies in the HUD and the music app can't work if you use a streaming service as Google Play Music or Spotify or Deezer (even if you have the music dowloaded on the Phone). Right now, it's an average app... and it shouldn't be considering that there's ton of competition that doesn't sells you expensive hardware as well. Let's hope for the future !

I tried to connect my hud to my phone but it kept sending me error messages saying that I didnt follow the steps correctly even though I did

The app crashes regularly, I hope that when I restart the app it sends recon an error report!

Goggles do not work. Gps will not acquire. MOD Live needs so much work. My limo version is a little better, but still ridiculous. App crashes constantly. Recon blames Oakley cant get tec support need I go on...

Love my recon hud, but this app is garbage, crashes and can't even sign in

It crashes every time you try and log in. From what i researched it has been happening for a long time and they havent fixed the problem

When I receive a msg, the app quits.

Music player crashes. App crashes. Defaults into find a buddy, which is likely least used portion of app. Poor support from manufacturer.

After latest update, I can now use all features and do not get forced close. More feedback after I try it on the mountain in 2 days.

The app crashes immediately on my Samsung Galaxy S3 won't even let me pair with device, i've tried updating the goggles and reinstalling the application on teh S3 and nothing has helped... please patch it and update the app so it works as well as the nexus s. To all the haters who are giving low reviews, This technology may have some kinks but it's worth working out the kinks in it for all the future features this app will provide us. Recon, don't let us down!

OK so now it will kind if play music. You can pick a song and adjust the volume. But the skip tracks buttons don't work at all. I bumped it from 1 start to 2. Once you get that fixed and make the thing connect on the first try, I have to delete the pairing and re pair every time I want it linked to my phone.

Recon, love your tech but your website and app are way below acceptable standards. You're dragging your good hardware through the mud!

The new UI is nice but the app seems prone to crashing and losing Bluetooth connectivity when using the trip viewer and listening to the music player. This is on Ice Cream Sandwich hopefully they will sort this out soon.

U can put heads up display GPS in goggles but u can't figure out a simple app. Just crashes instantly, the Oakley app is the exact same too. Pretty lame way to get a bad name for yourself.

Terrible does not do what it says on the tin. For an app that supports a $600 pair of goggles this is terrible. Will not connect to my Galaxy S3 at all, after reboots, upgrading etc for around an hour. Please get it fixed!!!

Followed troubleshooting guide & still won't connect to Engage app. Phone can find it & pair with it but the app won't. Works on HTC DInc.

Nice that the music player works compared to the Oakley version. It would get more stars if the music would work with Spotify.

Don't buy the HUD! It is more of a pain than useful. All I get is headaches from dealing with the buggy app.

Force closes/closes app on S4 when I open music player. Buddy finder ONLY shows location of my friends when I view it on my phone itself, not on the goggles. Call/text notifications not showing up half the time.

Haven't seen any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. Good functionality on my galaxy s3

This app doesn't stay open for more than 30 seconds without crashing.

Really easy to use synced with no problem quickly

Nearly bought the old HUD last year but changed my mind at the last minute. Now have the Snow2 and it is excellent. Just waiting for the promised Facebook connectivity!

This app works with the HUD and will continue to get better and better. You also don't need a HUD to track your friends.

I use this app to track friends on the mountain.. Best free tracking app.
