Receipts

Great .... but when it asked me to update I lost all my data. How do i get it back.

No Online Backup. Says you can back up receipts by sending to your personal email. But no instructions on how to do this. I certainly do not recommend this app if you plan on finding a receipt again if you have to change phones.

Won't save pics keeps reporting app has stopped working

Uploaded pic of receipt now it says it's been moved or deleted and I can't open it although I did nothing of the sort

Used this app on my old android, worked great. Now , with my new phone, as soon as you hit OK after taking a photo, the app shuts down and you can't record anything

says program has stopped working every time I try to save a photo of the receipt & when I finally get it to save photo it won't allow me to enter the date and time which is the only way to save the entry :(

Nothing happened after taking pics. Nothing happened when pressing setting. Only can add category.

App would not let me add any information to the categories. Downloaded the pro version and same problem. If it would work I think it would be a 5 star. But until problem is resolved only 1 star. Can I add a receipt without photo?

So Far so good. I am able to save receipt and do a useful zoom.

Having just spent a minute with the app I have several suggestions. 1. I would implement swipe gestures. Swipe to the right to open the menu (search, Reports, My receitps, ...), swipe to the left to get to the camera, and vice versa (from the menu, swipe to the left to get to main screen). 2. I would also offer either the choice to change the storage location of the pictures and information, or allow exporting and importing of data (preferably in an open format), or both. 3. I have 2 camera applications installed on my phone, I would like to be prompted which to use the first time I try to capture a receipt. 4. It would also be great if you could import existing pictures of receipts instead of only taking a picture. 5. Looks great, camera works now :-)

Didn't work on my Galaxy S 3. Took a picture, nothing happened. It even froze my phone. Maybe a fix on app as I am not the only one with the same problem.

I like it, best receipt app

To start this is one of the better receipt apps I have used really the best free one. There are a few quirks, enter date in this format for best results dd-mm-yyyy. One thing I would like to see is the ability to rotate the scanned receipts. OCR works only half the time I am not sure if the sideways scan affects it but it would not surprise me. There seems to be a hidden settings menu that isn't built yet my moto x doesn't show it but my grandpas note 2 does when he hits the hardware menu

The light for the camera stays on after you take a photo of the receipt which depletes battery power. Also the Settings option did nothing when selected. If these items were corrected, I would buy it. Tried the Pro version and had no better results so I got a refund.

Kept saying it stopped working. I noticed that I'm not the only one with this problem yet no one from Horgstetapp offered any resolution for this.
