Rebtel - International Calling

Been using it for a few months after which all of a sudden the account seems restricted. Account being restricted means unable to make calls and I am unable to call the customer care too. When called it simply says your account is restricted and please call the support team. But where is the number for the support team? I have commented in Rebtel s facebook page , no response whatsoever. I am stuck as to how to proceed.

Great app, very good quality calls at the best price, wherever I am ! A life saver for calling my parents in France from anywhere, any time, and not having to wait until I get home to call from my landline. Now, I can talk to them more often. ????

Be very careful with this app. It claims to connect via "local" phone lines... in my case the ones it actually used were in the next city and I got charged long distance (I'm in Canada) by my provider anyway! Thanks for nothing Rebtel. Now stuck with a $200 bill thru no fault of my own. Otherwise great, just make sure Rebtel is calling by truly local lines otherwise your calls won't be as cheap as you think!

Recommended by others, I used it too. And its awesome for me. I am able to contact a difficult country wherein I can monitor my call usage properly too. It doesnt eat my credit while placing a call which is prettymuch awesome. Rebtel is a service to many people. I can guarantee there is no exact app that does like rebtel. It requires a little patience how web app and apps behave. Keep it going. I only wish rebtel has a chat support.. but i know thats tough..but all in all.. awesomenss!

I started using Rebtel recently. The app looks very well designed, and the service seems to work well. I also appreciate the fact that no personal information, other than the phone number, is needed to create an account, and use the service. However, when I tried to log into my account on the website, it wouldn't send me my PIN by text message. I tried several times without any success. Finally, I had to use the call out option to get the PIN.

It doesn't work at all for me though I have 5€ balance and I can't yet make call. Previously it gives me 500 mins bonous for new customer experience but it also cuts money from my mobile balance.Even the customer service is bad, didn't reply me. ????Worst experience.

What the hell is going on? Are you cheating ur customers? I bought a credits on Rebtel but now whenever I make a call to my friends and family back in my country it gets connected to different person speaking different language......

Good one. There are occasional distortions and connectivity issues too. Call quality is quite reasonable but not at cheap rate which i dont mind for the level of service. Best thing i like is other person can see my actual number notblike others where number calling appears local if not suspicious.

it says me I have free first 3 min left.. it applies to every other country but Nepal. When I dial number from Nepal it shows me 0 min left. please fix this fast.. otherwise its good

I recharge my balance with bank card. And money deducted from my bank account but no calling balance is come up in my rebtel account. Be aware they just looting money from your bank account.

Beautiful calling app but starts deducting from your credit before the call is picked up. Once dialing has commenced, your clock starts ticking. Why is this? If the phone rings out, you still get charged even though the call never connected!

Would be nice if we could get the voicemail when someone doesn't answer.. would like to save minutes for under a minute to talked or them not answering the phone it still uses minutes.. would love video calling or sending short video messages

First time I used it I was really impressed by the call quality and the decent rates to South Africa. But like all dodgy apps, they just went and raised their rates with no warning, Google hangouts is better tenfold. On Google Hangouts, South Africa is 6p per minute and Zimbabwe 29p per minute! I am uninstalling this as soon as my credit runs out.

The call was successful and quality is fine. The problem was i used free 7 days trail for international calling and all those minutes i talked got deducted from mobile prepaid balance in first call itself. I will change my review once i am cleared out with this.

Works seamlessly with the call app on my Samsung Galaxy S6. Interface could stand a little improvement ad of spring 2017. Other than that, summer of 2017 I had a serious issue with it, not related to my device. Calls started getting gradually worse until the service became unusable. The fix was letting the monthly subscription expire and I stopped using it for a couple of months. When I reactivated the subscription they assigned a new local number and never had an issue again

Very bad service. Was working ok, but now, I can't make calls and I can't even contact them via support.

Poor service and performance. Not able to make calls to India on any number from Qatar. I have paid the subscription and its completely waste of it. Kindly improve your application in terms of signal and calling otherwise stop fooling and cheating people.

I enjoyed it for the first two weeks and was able to make calls to Germany. The sound quality was poor but it still worked; however, I have to speak with potential clients so this is unacceptable for me. If you are calling family and don't mind picking through the conversation and repeating yourself then this is a great app. The price was good and it seemed really great to pay only 4.99 /mo.. until I received a message, when I went to place a call, telling me I had ran out of "unique" calls for the month. Tried contacting them and they have no number. You can only email them. I feel like this app has potential to become something great but it is in the works and it is a great price. The limited calls advertised under unlimited is a bit frustrating.

Really trust worthy app. Have 0 complaints. Only wishing they come up with messages feature as well. Will recommend this product with surety.

when i changed my sim card my account logged out automatically. since then i am trying to relog in it doesnt work anymore. i tried to connect to rebtel support i was told that they have fixed the issue but no use. in my account i top up 5 $ then again 5$. but no money no account also app doesnt launching

Have been using Rebtel to call India for a while. After having paid for an unlimited subscription, I am unable to connect after several tries. It has become completely unreliable, which is a shame. Uninstalling and cancelling my subscription with immediate effect.

Everytime I try to call my family in Africa, I get connected to some random person! Extremely annoying when the call is important and time sensitive. Get it together!

Clear connection. Generally mild-to-no noise interference. Occasionally, however, there is considerable amount of noise - which points to room for improvement.

Careful. Cheat app. They will charge your card even you disable the auto charge feature from app, and will not refund when you complain. This is cheat app. Stay away. Uninstalling.

It is a great app to stay in touch with your long distance family and friends. Clear calls and the credit lasts a very long time. I plan to use this app for years to come!

Your app deduct from my credit just for ringing without pick up. You have been charging for calls not connected. Its very shocking. By the time the phone rings for a minute and ten seconds and no answer, I have lost two minutes credit. I was wandering why the credit go so quickly with few minutes calls.

This app solved a huge problem of exorbitant international call rates for me. Simply amazing!

Really bad experience. Using it for 4 months. Poorest of the call quality. WhatsApp, imo, Skype calls work better.

Used once it worked fine . Now its not connecting and saying my number is restricted or server error . No clear way of resolving issue as need to login to report an issue. Would like issue resolved or credits refunded

If you are from Nigeria don't call with rebtel, just imagine 5€ is 30 minutes call to Nigeria this absolutely rubbish. I still have almost 3€ in my account and they wrote I have just 7mins remaining.this is pure nonsense.

I have done my recharge on 21st December 2017 at 14hour :32minute. And then everything went on good. But suddenly 27th December 2017 at 18hour: 00, my balance is disconnected and showing me zero {0}, am so worried now.. And i don't understand what's wrong with this app. ???????????????????? and i recharge for one month package unlimited for 12€, but now no out going calls. ???????????????????? my family is in NEW ZEALAND.. And INDIA. NOW i can't make call to any country... ????????????. Now what should i do to get back my recharge to continue for 3more week..?? Please help me out.!!????????

I received a call from unknown number so I called back . Rebtel application automatically take that number as international and staring making call by itself . Now I received an email that As a safty precaution my account has been restricted by internal security system. Then I reply to the email . Then received an email again Saying "your account is unlocked" . But it is not unlocked still restricted. Tell me is my time over with rebtel or you guys want me back.

Hi, generally the app is working great, but since yesterday there is a problem: when calling from Android there is no voice. On the other side, on iPad app it works great, without any problem.

I LOVE THIS APP! I'm so far from home and this app just makes me feel that little bit closer. I would recommend this app to anyone and I wouldn't be without it myself.

The best, especially to call India from Canada! Unlimited for 10 CAD per month, which is much better than calling cards of just 18 hours. Ye have WiFi and LTE at most places of stay and outside home, so there are no noticeable range issues. 9 out of 10 times, it's excellent! I couldn't have asked for anything more! ???? The sound quality is good, network is stable, price also affordable, but when I make a call, rebtel starts billing when the phone you're trying to reach is still ringing. Therefore, you will lose your money whenever the person you are trying to reach is not near the phones (or when he doesn't want to pick the call)
