Hey guys, I really love the Metro layout, and the fact that I'm not restricted to a launcher is a huge plus. But the Gmail widget isn't displaying any of my mails despite correct login credentials. I'd give 5 stars if it worked

U70%
by U####:

Just dl'd this to my Galaxy S III but can't see or find ANY docs to help me set this up. Any help appreciated, as the only other option I see is to mail the developer :-(

O70%
by O####:

Finally!! The one that i am looking for!!! I put this inside the POP UP Widget, and Boom!! Windows style start menu!

Y70%
by Y####:

Upgraded to a nexus six with 5.x and this doesn't even give the option to plant a widget for me. Works OK with my nexus 4 for whatever reason.

X70%
by X####:

Drained my battery, had a surge in Data use. Had to uninstall. Too bad. I really liked it.

U70%
by U####:

I haven't had any issues with battery drain or data consumption. It looks great and hasn't crashed on me yet. 3 stars because I would like to be able to change the grid size rather than just stretching the widget to fit the screen and the weather widget is blank (looks exactly like the last picture in the Application Screenshots). Will up review by 1 star for each fix.

R70%
by R####:

Can't resize the tiles, there's a widget sized gap on the right side of my HTC one x and had no clock. Also! I do not have it on my homepage and it chewed through 11% battery, the OS, chews up 11% battery! Uninstalling asap!

U70%
by U####:

My second review is now lowering the rating of this app. I can have my phone on airplane mode, screen turned off, while sitting idle the next morning my phone is dead. Real widget utilized 58 percent of the battery.

by B####:

Would be great but I cannot get weather to display on home screen. I can "link" weather so that when I tap the weather it brings up forecast but on home screen the widget itself is blank. Saw that one of the posters said that this is linked to "news and weather" app. ????? What app? This needs to be fully explained so that this function works properly otherwise it is somewhat of a disappointment. It's only a buck so I can deal with it but I'd like that weather to work.

Next up: Facebook, twitter, whatsapp, and make it dynamic and changing like the real deal

X70%
by X####:

Great start really and the last update seems to have fixed the weather displaying a blank tile. Still a little room for some more options like a scrolling calendar maybe but love it so far and happy to support the development

J70%
by J####:

I ended up creating most of the tiles myself because of the limited variety offered, by downloading pictures and toying with the custom tiles settings. Widget is a major battery drainer. Would be better if it was made to fit an android screen, instead of having the large blank area on the side. Good effort, but the pig needs more lipstick

My battery drained from 100% to 0% within 3 hours yesterday had to charge up 5 times yesterday just so I can use it. Phone was extremely hot, kept giving me overheating warnings. Today I decided to get to the bottom of this and look in the data usage and found out that this widget consumed 3.6GB OF DATA! that is ridiculous. I want a refund. The app is a great and awesome idea but it needs lots of work.

Shows blank on home screen

N70%
by N####:

No probs with weather, just tap on blank tile, it will update (it is linked with news&weather app). In future updates I would like to see CLOCK tile; more metro icons; changeable font size and the most wanted- wp8 like tile size options(not just two columns) as I'm using this widget for full screen size vertically already. Keep up the good work.

X70%
by X####:

It would be better if we could have smaller 1x1 tiles.

X70%

Just started crashing constantly for no reason. Oh well I liked it when it worked.

No update in months.

Runs great on my galaxy nexus running jellybean. No battery drain or lag at all. Couldn't be better.

X70%
by X####:

But then it started crashing, All the time! Would change review if this got fixed though.

Z70%
by Z####:

this app crashes too often. when u start to have more tiles, it wont load from its backup, just CRASHES AGAIN AND AGAIN!

X70%
by X####:

No battery drain or any other problems here!! I see zero reason not to buy this app!

X70%
by X####:

Hey Kevin, same with me initially on my GS2, restart your phone, it should show up. Can't get mine to look like the screenshots, some more documentation would be appreciated.

X70%
by X####:

Love how it looks, but there were a few problems: -Music app only played most recent out call from my Cabulous app and not anything in my google play music app -Calendar height not adjustable like screenshot Some nice-to-have features would be: -digital clock widget that tells the time -facebook notifications -twitter notifications -foursquare notifications -Maps widget (not directions) -Camera widget -flashlight widget

X70%
by X####:

Works ok for me on a Galaxy S2 but the lag on widgets updating when tapped is too much for me. Some things (like the weather widget) didn't work for me at all. Colour picker (used to customise) was awkward to use and had a non-english title. Overall, a nice idea but not quite ready for prime time yet (ie, should be free until it's more polished and has better docs).

This widget has almost everything. It has the looks, it has the functionality, and it doesn't crash! Still, It isn't a 100% complete solution to a metro look, but so far nothing out there is. I can see that combined with some of the other programs out there like launcher 8, one can get pretty close to that 100 percent. The only problem I see currently is the size difference in the icons. If the real widget icons could be sized by the user this problem would be solved. Otherwise it's darn near perfect!

X70%
by X####:

It's a beautiful little widget that scales nicely, but could offer a few more features in terms of icons and options. Namely when editing multiple widgets, it would be nice if there was an option to name them instead of just playing with widget numbers. Alternately I wouldn't mind if this was a possible replacement to the app drawer all together. Sadly, when you corrupt a saved widget (and this is possible) it doesn't appear that you're able to clean out any backed up settings, otherwise you're left with a dated mess of saves requiring you to dig into the file system which for most isn't easy. Other than that, it's beautiful and functional which does a great job of mimicking the modern UI quite well. The only major problem is that the calendar will lag days behind the actual date. Lots of bugs but otherwise rather functional and in need of fixes and work.

They're rectangular and squat on my phone. Resizing doesn't help. Kinda ugly.

X70%
by X####:

I bought this widget and haven't seen it updated in quite some time. Has development stalled or stopped?

X70%
by X####:

This is great work, can't wait to see where you can take it! love to see G+ and twitter integration. Thanks for the great app.

R70%
by R####:

I like the layout aspect, sure, but the live in my tiles is the reason I want them there. The music player doesn't work, the gmail doesn't update.

D70%
by D####:

Very easy to use, would be even better if we could name the Widgets rather than only seeing a numerical list.

X70%
by X####:

Pros: I like the Metro layout, and it's nice to have it on a touch screen device without sacrificing the usefulness of Android OS. It also allows for vertical scrolling, so you are not limited by the height of your home screen. You can choose between 1 tile and 2 tile layout, though with most widgets, the 2 tile layout is just stretched. Cons: This program still needs a lot of work. I started using Nova Launcher so that I could hide the persistent search bar as Real Widget did not look appealing squashed e

Looks like crap on a big screen

X70%

A great app, but only 4 star cuz you need a tile in it for galleries and it would be nice if background images could use transparencies. Would allow you to make tiles that resemble a windows phone using HTC Sense... Just a suggestion

App just downloaded 2gb of god knows what in the background on mobile internet. This app just single-handedly cost me over $100 in excess usage. What the hell, developers?
