Inspections by Propertyware

We have been using this app as a company for almost 2 years and I don't know why. Today I spent 1.5 hours doing an inspection, the app crashed over 20 time and now it won't sync and I have to delete and reinstall and loose everything. Property ware should be paying us money to keep this garbage!

Propertyware was promoted as the best platform to manage residential rental property. They introduced an app to do inspections of properties which was supposed to be good on Android or Ipad and neither work. We have been dealing with inspections disappearing after our staff have been in the property for 3 hours. The photos disappear and the inspection disappears. We have been fighting this problem with Propertyware for close to a year. Do you know what they have been telling us? Sorry for the inconvenience. I'd try something else before even considering this garbage.

Locks up in middle of inspections sometimes multiple times.

I can't do any inspections on here as it continues to crash and not save my data

App don't let you reschedule reoccuring inspections. You must add it all over again.

Can't get items to sync. Very frustrating. Waiting for tech support to call back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Now, I'm expired before I'm done! Not fun.

Seems as if propertyware is never going to get this app to actually work on android tablets. Three different versions later and still crashes the app when attempting to take a picture. IOS app seems to work but constant problems with syncing. Wished andriod app worked because functionality is superior IOS app.

So I complete about 40-60 inspection reports per month. When I send in my invoice for payment on these from my employer, there is no pictures attached in the reports. This is the most important part of the report.

Have done 5 inspections so far and has been a game changer. Inspected a 3/2 with many defects in just over 30 minutes. Device used was a samsung 6 active.

I spent hours doing g move out inspections and then saving and submitting them. Once they're submitted they disappear totally. It's a complete waste of time.

I recently updated my Android operating system and now the camera in this app doesn't work.

This app crashes everytime I open it, every time I add an inspection to it, everytime I try to close out of a report, we're looking at new software now.

Camera funtion seems to be inoperable.

Original Review: As is, it is unusable. I can't scroll the screen without accidentally going into the comment field. And my keyboard won't go away. It's too bad they rushed the beta. Propertyware should have worked out the kinks before releasing. I will add more stars when they get it fixed because the inspections module is a fantastic addition to the Propertyware software. UPDATE: I upgraded my phone to an LG G2 from a Droid Razr and now have no issues. It is an awesome app and integrates perfectly with Propertyware. I recommend a newer phone with a fast processor for best results until the app is optimized better.

Horrible. It had trouble syncing with my nexus 4. Didn't allow me to take pictures and enter them into application. And it doesn't include the full list of property's.

Need to be able to use on my Lenovo tablet. Phone too small of a screen.

It's lot more simpler than it used to be on desktop. Great work and keep going guys

Nothing but problems with this app. Doesn't sync or update properly.

Have to uninstall and reinstall all app frequently. Doesn't work on 4G network or high resolution android phones like samsung note. Really love concept and would use it daily if I could get it to work.

Great concept but is almost unusable. None of the functions work as advertised. Using Samsung GS 5 - photos don't sync - setting don't hold, other issues as well. I am advised the fixes are not a high priority & I should not use the Mobile App - instead I should use the web based application via a browser. Definitely NOT a time saver - rather it's a time and money pit! Tech Support while empathetic is unable to resolve any issues. I'm told my issues have been escalated but may take 1-2 months - meanwhile there is no update or feedback.

PLEASE DEVELOP THIS APP FURTHER! I love the concept. However, inspections take several hours to complete because pictures have to be taken separately and attached to the inspection in the full version. If anyone is using it successfully I would like to know what settings you are using.

I'm running the app on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it's very slow and sometimes even unresponsive (i.e. crashes). I also use the apple version and it has a feature where you can hold down the section header and it will check all of the items as "good". This is a great time-saving feature which should, in my opinion, be added to the next version. The app looks clean but until they fix the bugs and stop the crashes I will continue to use the apple version.

Synching seems fine over WiFi. Biggest problem I have is that the app will not record photos. Received a message "something has occurred, picture cannot be saved". I can take photos with my phone and upload them to the app one by one however this is time consuming. I'm using a Nexus 5 running KitKat 4.4.

Works great for FIRST property. Halfway thru second property app/phone locks up. Change batteries and phone works fine but propware app spins and spins and spins. Even after inspections are finished the sync might spin for 4 HOURS....YUP.....4 HOURS!!!

Gets really frustrating. Need more options as far as layouts, and a signature option.

Overall the app is half baked. I've only done 1 inspection, and it won't sync with Propertyware. I also can't even search buildings from the app.
