Clear and smooth

This is really a great app for getting into the daily Talmud page. You will need some basic knowledge of Hebrew, and Jewish law, but generally Rabbi Wise does an amazing job of drawing out the arguments, and explaining what is going on. Even if you have the Artscroll translation in front of you, as I do, I find his explanations help emphasize the threads of argument going on, without ever diving off into tangents. With any Daf Yom program, it can be hard to catch up after holidays, and Shabbat, but usually Rabbi Wise is able to put several in advance, so you can study before the Yom Tov or Shabbat.

I have been searching for a daf shiur for a long time which was exceedingly clear and to the point without any frills, preferably a half hour or so. Rabbi Wise is exceedingly clear and explains the pshat of the Daf. I personally download the shiur from the app and use my podcast program to point to the app folder and listen at 1.7x speed getting me to the requisite half hour. ALSO: beautiful tzuras hadaf easy to go back and forth. Shiurim available in advance by at least a day or two so you can go ahead

The shiurim are clear and one time, but best of all is the daf itself can be read anywhere with the correct tzuras hadaf.
