How the app's database is optimized is nice. It loads a lot faster than the old version. I can see why you can't use the old database directly, but could there be an option to read the old database and transcribe it into the new format? I am doing that manually right now. What I find particularly annoying is the use the of full-screen ads. The older versions simply had a banner ad that you could see, but was non-intrusive. The new way pops an ad in the middle of your reading and covers the entire screen. Could you bring back the banner ads?

No author search I can find, I lost all my stories saved her in my library and your book layout is all, the graphic update is cute but go back to straight text please hopefully I have a old all of readup somewhere I had a paid version of the old one, so that's just gone now?

HATE HATE this new one won't let me get all the stories I had saved up before and won't find ones that I can read on the sight... Bring back the other one PLEASE

How do I move my backup data from the old version to the new version? I heard that we have to rename it?

I suspect that they cannot go back to the older version for legal reasons. Fanfiction plus is an almost identical app to the classic version. Even so much that I was able to use my backup from the classic, after renaming it, in Fanfiction plus. So if you are frustrated with this new version and want something closer to the old try fanfiction plus and if you need any help getting your old backup in there let me know.

I had to buy a new phone because my old one broke. My old phone had your older version of read up and i fudging love it. Now on my new phone i can only download your newer version of read up and i very dislike the design and layout it just plain sucks. Looks like I'm gonna have to use my old phone with the older version to keep reading fanfiction. Because i hate the new version. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK.

Have the app on another phone and love it. This new version and format is garbage compared to that. There is no longer as many options to filter looking for a story or that many stories in general like it used to be. I'm just going to keep using my old phone for this app since this new version fails big time. Maybe I'll find a way to transfer it over hopefully to my new phone...

I love this app. My only problem with it so far is the categories. When writing a story, you have to pick a category before writing. Cartoon, game, etc. The categories help nothing for writing fanfic ships for your favourite youtubers. ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽bye now.

The older version was so much better than this one! I, too, had lost a lot of stories! Please change it back!

I don't get it. How can you login on oy one device... I had to get a new phone because mine broke and now I can't sign in which I normally just sign in with fb but because this is a different device it won't let me. You can only login on one device with fb. That's stupid. I don't want to have to lose my stories I was reading yeah it was only a few stories but the quantity doesn't matter. It's what I was reading that does.

I think wattpad can do better if they added this

Just says account dose not exist! I loved the old app I had over 1700 stories on it. And I can't even migrate it to the new one

It works perfectly but when I try to search something it doesn't let me. But it is still really good

Bring back the old version

First, I had over 400 books saved in my library. While following about 150 updates. That's gone now. Secondly, I paid for the pro version and it's not seeing that purchase. I just can't get over the fact your group forced an update totally jacking up a working system without any type of notification that it would cause a software breakage. That shows a lack of professionalism on your part. If I treated my customers this way, I'd be broke and out of work. Please get your act together.

Its a good app with a few issue. I have just started using it again and i really like it. The issues i have found are that the fics sonetimes cant be removed fro my library, the speak function works bu the pause button just skips the powergraph.

I gave a year for the app to be fixed i done with it

Go back to the old version please. I lost all my stories.

I love that you can read offline and make your own if you want

It has good books that are very entertaining and the app is easy to use.

Truthfully I wrote something very long and nice the first time but my phone for some reason did not send it now ill stick to the facts this time. The app is nice but I do not like it due to the fact that the TTS does not work chapter to chapter which we working 10 hours a day is very troublesome. if you could somehow tell me how to make it work for a whole story so I don't have to go through chapter press chapter press can I would really appreciate it

Good job on the new design, the old one still holds a special place in my heart though. Signing in and out is not a hassle for me but please consider adding a "remember me" option. And a request for adding more filtering options like "characters, ratings,etc." Good job though, really appreciate the efforts! <3

I would like this if I could transfer my library over from the older version

It's at least the second time that you guys did this. You pulled the old version off the store, and now you want everyone to pay for the pro version AGAIN. The old app is not functioning anymore.But I am not gonna pay a third time for your crap.

If any of you are still on version 3.7, don't let the app update to the next version. You may lose your library and the new version is not capable of importing the old library to the new one.

Why on earth would you create a new app when the old version was good and useable. I also dislike the fact that I need to pay a new fee to get the pro version again. The features on this app are severely lacking compaired to the other one like that you need to have Internet to even start the app. If you want to satisfy your customers just bring the old version back

I loved the old version of read up better. I didnt need to sign in to us the app and when i do try to sign in with my already existing fanfiction account it tells me my username does not exist. I have looked at other but none have any settings like the old version of readup had so i am not happy with them, which means i cannot read my stories with out being in the internet because i cannot get in to you app using my already existing details and i will not sign up again just to use your app!!!

Not sure what happened but after this newest update but I originally paid for readup pro and now it doesn't even register that I paid for it at all and lost all my stories again.

I still have yet to understand this new one... but if you could make it to where it will sync with the 300- something books I have downloaded, that would make it no more than superb. Other than that, and TTS has yet to be found and and please fix a few minor things I'm sure your ratings will go back up!

It would be awesome if we could search stories using Characters category too so I can easily locate stories with OC (original character)

I still prefer the older version. It's complicated and useless. This is the 3rd time Readup messed things up. If there is no upgrade about this is app. I as a user will not hesitate to share it to the world how useless, money stealer and f****d up app. Thank you :)

I really love the old version of READUP! Not only was it easy to choose stories it does not require log in, on this version I can't even log in no matter what I do! And the old version have the TTS function on it and this new one DON'T!!! I REALLY WANT THE OLD ONE BACK!!!

The newer version of this is terrible. I miss the old version when you didn't have to sign in.

I hate that we have to have an account now , i loved the old interphase and the old set up
