About Read My Text Messages
Read My Text Messages reads out all of your notifications aloud, which is especially useful when driving. Simply turn on the app and all messages will be read out as they arrive.
You also have the option of setting messages to be repeated, if you'd like to hear them twice.
Read My Text Messages is compatible with headphones so if you are running whilst listening to music, the music will be paused, your message read out through your headphones and then the music will resume playing.
Read My Text Messages is also compatible with Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth car stereo systems.
You will require a Text To Speech engine, most devices have these installed as standard and there are several free options available to install.

I have tried lots of these. I found one, not this one, where you can reply but none are as good as that which comes standard with a Windows phone. Also it doesn't give you a chance to tell it not to read. It just suddenly blurt that out. I had to uninstall it because it just blurts out notifications even when on a phone call.

I use your app via my BT earpiece. I'm loving how it reads all my notifications. However, I noticed this morning when I woke up that it was still reading my notifications with the BT turned off. Luckily it was at a very low volume and I had to listen carefully to see where it was coming from. Hopefully you can see that if for some reason the volume was turned up how embarrassing it would be if a personal text or message came in. Is there a way to turn it off of the phone speaker, and only use it on BT?

Galaxy S6, had to install Samsung high quality voice first because there was no speech. Then I could barely hear it with all volume controls all the way up. EDIT: After a few reboots, seems to be audible now.

Installed on my Galaxy A5 and supplements the default verbal notifications as well as reading out my messages. Ideal for those who are driving or frequently have both hands busy / dirty so are unable to read messages.

I kind of hate the fact that if you receive more than one message it does not read the message it just tells you you got a message from that person. pointless
