I spend *A LOT* of time doing phonograms and flashcards in the early grades of homeschool. With all the tricky blends and weird sounds that the English language involves, it's a wonder that we ever learn to read! One of the wonderful things that I love is that all the sounds are represented...for example: The 'A' says a short A, a long A, and Ah. All 3 sounds are represented. It has a great library of sounds and blends. It is basically a set of phonogram flashcards that a child can do by themselves. I know how much kids love electronics and games....so since its in app form, it will hold their attention longer than regular flashcards will!
