NextSong - Music Notifications

2 STARS because the concept is great, but the implementation stinks. It does not appear to be compatible with newer versions of Android. Please consider updating software. In sum, the app is activated, but shortly crashes when you minimize the program.

App hasn't been working for months so uninstalling. A shame as it used to do a great job.

I want to purchase pro. But the ui. Is too outdated. I need aesthetically pleasing applications. Only optimized for lollipop obviously.. Please implement the new into at lease the latest version of KitKat. While us high end ✆ users await for the lollipop update.

My device displays the notification as if I had set my device on landscape mode even in auto-rotate/portrait. Because of this the text on it is cut off or not visible at all.

Why can't the service turn itself on automatically on start up?

Very convenient when playing music with using navigation while driving. but it looks not working on android Nougat 7.0. keep crashing. This will be the best app when it is fixed.

The only popup notification app that work with music players, there are not so much customization options for the aspect, but just the essantials ones

If the music is paused, any incoming notification will cause the NextSong heads-up notification to appear. That needs to be resolved. I'd like to be able to customize which apps appear when plugging in headphones as well.

The free version doesn't do anything, but give you the option of using the paid version? Awesome.

Could be very useful and is the only one of its kind I've found so far. Not sure though if the developer is serious due to slow updates.

Needs to run on startup and in foreground otherwise it doesn't work without opening just prior to using the music app. Would have bought the paid version if it wasn't for this...

The app is nice and useful, but having to re-enable it after every reboot is bothersome. I have emailed the developer a long time ago and yet this still hasn't been fixed. This is something very basic that should have been fixed immediately and therefore I give it 2 stars only.

This app is great when it works. Having a shortcut to open media apps when headphones are connected is very convenient. Issues: I frequently have to relaunch the app for the notification to appear when the song changes. Notification doesn't change size when switching from landscape back to portrait.

The app works great! But it turns itself off every 5 minutes or so. Please fix!

I like the heads up notification a lot. The music app suggestions are terrible, however. At least it suggests Google Play Music. I also have Pandora & Spotify installed, but it suggested FX File Explorer, Yatse , Yatse Call Plugin & Yatse Notification instead. UPDATE: It now detects Spotify, but still shows the other unrelated apps. Also, it does not work at all while Ingress is running.

Would be better if the notification can be position adjusted by users!

Works really well however when I'm using Google maps at the same time as music playing the notification reappears after every voice direction which is slightly annoying

Simple yet useful. Suggestion: Option to suggest music app when connected to Bluetooth like headphones currently do.

When I plug in the headset a notification pops up that says How about some music. It would be great if I could choose what apps show up and I could press the notification and open up the apps from there.

GREAT IDEA! And it works with all my "sound" apps! REALLY works well with Soundcloud--everything, really! Super-kudos to the developers! A MUST-download for music, podcasts, newbeat, umano, etc.-users!
