I'm a typical millennial, I would consider myself good with technology and pick up new technology quickly. As a millennial, we generally want things to be quick and simple. Easy to use UI. However with this app, it doesn't really suit the target market of consumers that use smartphone for ease of convenience. Problem: The opening screen of the app after installation, has no "get started here" or "register here" page. There's not even a "register now" on the login page, or the RTown website.

Worked a year ago (but always a struggle) but hasn't worked in months now. The app hangs indefinitely, or if it opens it just never registers the merchant's stamp. Merchant is complaining too, and has switched back to using paper loyalty cards. Yes, paper.

This never loads when I need it.. IMO this requires a full re-design on the GUI and backend.

Used to work on htc one, but now it does not work. So crappy app, cant even edit info. Dunno why ubc is supporting this.

..and design the app to look like 2010 Android? No thanks. Have a look at Material Design and then come back.

Needs at least some sort of reward redemption history. I had a restaurant redeem a reward on my phone right in front of me and then refuse to give me the free pizza after the reward had disappeared from the app.

My battery was draining at about twice the usual rate. Took me a while to figure out that this was the culprit, but uninstalled it and back to normal now. The Android battery monitor was reporting it as "Google Play Services". This is because that's what provides location data when apps request it. So not only is this eating my battery, but it also seems to be spying on where I am even when I'm not using it!

My Batista spends 4 minutes in the morning trying to get the key to work on my phone. Useless and a waste of Time.

Tried to use the app at Romer's Burgers in Yaletown and it couldn't find the business. Location svcs turned on. Says to check Settings but there is no Settings option that I can find on the main screen. Uninstalling.

Used it at UBC and both places could not stamp me. They tried multiple times and at the end the cashiers and managers just gave up. The staff looked frustrated and unfazed-confirmig that this was the first time that this system has failed. Not ideal for busy stores because the staff would need to spend additional time to resolve the issue.
