This App does what I want it to do. It would have been great if it worked off line...
I used it on a recent trip going through different terrains in different elevations very interesting and informative

Cool app, it'd be nice to bookmark the flags for future reference.

I don't understand this app. The first time I used it, on a hike in the local mountains, it was really accurate and I loved it. Yesterday, I tried to use in on the same trail and I couldn't get it to work. I started with my phone set to Airplane Mode and got the message that there was no internet connection. Of course. But when I turned AM off I still got the same message. I tried different combinations of settings but never did get an altitude reading yesterday even though I had a sight line to the metro area. It did show my location accurately which I think indicates a good GPS fix. In any case, if it requires an internet connection to compute altitude it's not much use in the Sierra Nevada or Cascades - there's not much connectivity in the high mountains. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, my carrier is ATT.
Misrepresented app. It's not as advertised. It's not accurate. For it to be accurate it needs to access world Wide topography maps. As others have reported, there is a variance of around 20 meters. This is not by definition accurate. Additionally, app and developers rather dumb. App requires high location GPS enabled even when indoors for the app to function. Indoors wifi info should suffice like with Google maps and other ones. Uninstalled

I have used to set up my weather station. Seemed accurate compared to other sites around me.
