EpDetect (epileptic seizures)

I got a new Samsung Galaxy and it doesn't work. I can't reach my settings at all. I can't input phone numbers. It stops working. It freezes when you try to hold the button down.

Does not work at all. Keeps crashing when I try and disarm. I was walking the other day and it thought I was having a seizure. Uninstalling

Keeps on saying it has stopped working and closes application down.

Keeps telling me it has stopped working and to close the app. Also how do you like it to another family member. There's no instructions.

It worked OK at the start but then kept crashing and setting off false alarms

But it needs to be updated and not all seizures cause convulsions. And it keeps crashing and won't stop running in the background even after it has crashed. It needs some work so I have Uninstalled it for now but if you cam fix the bugs I will definitely reinstall it and change my rating. Although until then it remains the same.

The app automatically turned itself on and sent out messages. It also never sent out the warning alarm for me to try and turn it off. This app caused my family members panic attacks for absolutely no reason

This is a great idea, however when I installed this app on my Samsung Galaxy S6, I could not find the menu so I could change settings and enter my caregiver's information. Furthermore, it appears to only be good for people who have very violent tonic-clonic seizures, which I don't have often. When I tested the app, I had to shake my phone very violently before it detected a "seizure." Maybe find a way to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the motion detection, and also a way to detect other kinds of seizures as well.

Does not work constantly crashing a great deal of my time wasted trying to get app to even run. So finally uninstalling ..I will keep looking.

This is a great idea for epileptics however, the app crashes constantly and gives false hope to those who need it! Why release this app to the public when it is not dependable to those who could potentially die when the fails? ? ? ? ? ? Please fix this app or pass it onto a developer who will fix and update this app.

It doesn't work for small seizures only clonic tonic ones

And Soterria Seizure Alert works with, or without, any Android smartwatch.

App kept freezing wouldn't work

I was testing it and it does detect the movement but when you hit cancel the app stops working and the closes out!

Just installed app. It stopped working twice as soon as I stated to use it. Yes, I un-installed it, completely useless.

It detected a few but not much

Please please update! This would be amazing if implemented for smart watches. It could be an epilepsy game changer! It has given me freedom I never thought I could have.

Safe to know that alarm is loud

Wonderful concept but crashes immediately upon opening .. if it does open, it crashes as soon as any button is pressed .. it also continues to run in the background, even after crashing .. uninstalled

This would be lifesaving. Please update!

It doesn't work!

It didnt have a spot to add caretakers numbers into it to alert them

This app is a great help does exactly what is says it has helped me deal with my partners fits much more easya I now dont have to keep looking over my.shoulder I would give a full five stars if it was possible to change sencsitivity and had a medication reminder or seizure record recorder

A very good beta, Robert. The sensitivity controls are spot on, and it even picks up a drop fit. Only things wrong - it crashes when you cancel an alarm, and the alert and alarm need to be MUCH louder. Right now, they wouldn't get much attention. Otherwise, keep going!

This would be good. But its only useful for people who have convulsions. I dont convulse so its completely useless. Also it detected me having a seizure. When i was walking up stairs!!! Sort it out.

Wil not even detect my phone so cant say its any good phone GALAXY ACE II

It stopped working on me and didn't detect a few seizures. I am going to install and reinstall and see if it goes back to how it was. It worked great before!

The developer doesn't update this app regularly; and, thus the app suffers from frequent crashes ans stalls. As a person with grand-mal seizures, I am reduced to texting my family members regularly due to the failure of this app. Please fix this.

But it has to be open in order to work. No one is going to leave it on & not be able to do anything else

I have been diagnosed with epilepsy and my husband saw this app. He mailed epdetect and received wonderful help from them........ Until he mentioned it did not work properly. Then they went dark! I can't get to the settings to maximise performance. Otherwise it is not a bad app. If they developed it i would definitely be willing to pay for it.
