RCN Mobile

This app does exactly what it's supposed to do -- glitch free WITHIN the app. However it's major flaw is that it kills all speaker and mic functions on my Pixel phone. Closing the app completely (swiping it off the 'recent apps' screen) returns the phone to it's normal state. Worth the nuisance for me, but may be fatal to others.

I am finally able to listen to VMs again with the latest update. I am not able to delete voicemails using the app though, which was a very useful feature. I think RCN should bring this functionality back

First app wouldn't play messages. Update fixed that. Now, opening app kills all sound except RCN on my phone. Only way to restore sound is phone reboot every single time I even open the app.

Every time I wanna pay my bill after choosing to pay with my card and when I'm putting my name thats on card it only takes the 1st letter of my name which gives me no choice but to call n do payments over the phone and they charge 3 dollars more,,, they need to fix this problem I shouldn't have to pay 3 $$ more everytime.

Fix your damn option to pay by credit/debit card. How can you make a payment if you can only type one letter in the name space for card info?

It's a great app If you can't write your name when paying by Card it's because it needs to be in capital

Worst app. U can't even live stream your TV show even though you have RCN account. I miss Xfinity TV!

It dont let me sign on using my user name and pass word but it works for you guys

Very limited usefulness.

After going to Marshmallow the app stops and takes report upon trying to log into RCN. App shows up on Google Play as supporting Marshmallow. Called RCN and the people there do not understand this app at all - no help there! One Star!!!!! Update: Just got a voice mail from RCN tech person who shows they don't understand this issue by saying the issue is with RCN2GO. All he talked about was RCN2GO (which BTW work great on Marshmallow (for me)).

I have tried and tried again to log in to this stupid company's website and app. My security questions don't even work. Every time i call its at least a 2 hr wait just to retrieve anything but still cant log in. Now my internet doent work for god knows what reason. Everything checks out except i cant check online for any info. None of my passwords work, nothing works. Somehow none of the websites or apps accept my account but i have service. What kind of joke service is this?

Only using this app because RCN charges me $1 to make a one time payment on their website, but not through this garbage app, and yes, I'm cheap enough that I'm going to use this stupid app instead of waste $12/year. Hey RCN! What gives? It's clear the payment processor is the same for your website and your app, why must I be forced to use a tiny phone screen instead of my computer to manage my bills? Do you actually understand how the internet works!? I mean, I kind of assumed you did because YOU'RE AN INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER! Google, please, come install Google Fi in Somerville, MA. I will do pretty much whatever you ask if only to be rid of stupid, inane, ridiculous ISPs. I know you're listening. Please, don't leave us to rot away with...this poor excuse of a company.

I prefer to pay my bill as soon as it comes out so I don't forget but usually it says no balance until right before my bill is due. I received my statement for next billing cycle through email but still can't pay through the app. Hopefully this gets fixed soon

Idk what's up with all the other reviews. Maybe people have out dated device's. But this app works just fine. I logged in. My amount due was right there. I added my credit card info right quick. It let's you add the exact amount you want to pay. And its free no extra or hidden charges.

Never showed the balance. Balance alway be $0 even the bill was almost due. Lucky i didnt sign up for paperless bill or i will pay late fee for the every bills.

There's no reason this app need access to my contacts list.

This app locks you out of your account after three wrong password attempts. The password controls are weird, so I never remember what my password was, and it doesn't offer a way to save credentials so you have to log in every time. Overall it's no better than the website.

Cannot log in, getting error "connection closed by peer"

My balance is always listed as $0.00. Even if i attempt to make a payment anyway, it says the max I can pay is $0.00. Last month, I didn't even realize I owed anything until a past due notice came in the mail. Also, since I can't pay via the app, I'm stuck with paying the fee to pay over the phone.

There is no access to Webmail on this app. Only access to pay bills and to change your preferences. RCN needs a webmail APP or to add access to Webmail to THIS APP.

This app needs to alert me when I miss a phone call or receive a voicemail automatically. I shouldn't have to open the app and check.
