Smart iRemote

This remote is the best I have found. It runs my Android box & kodi. No switching between apps. All it requires was my IP address and port. No additional install to my box or Kodi (apps) and no attachment for the phone. The keyboard works great and so does the mouse. Plus it's free. For those negative reviewers, it didn't auto pick up my connection either, but do it manually and when it says type in something, it's asking for the IP address and then your port (can be viewed in kodi or google how to find them if you don't know)

I never really rate apps but sonce my dogs killed my kodi remote i needed something. While i found many apps that didnt work tbis one was quite the opposite. I love the keyboard and the mouse options even with my remote i didnt have that. This app is absolutely amazing.

Tried a few different remote apps for my Chinese made Android TV/Kodi box. None were able to find the box. But this one did immediately. And the mouse/trackpad functionality works great for those overlays that aren't accessable via the dpad.

It worked directly. I can controll my Android box Minix U1 perfectly. None of the other remote apps worked for me, not even Googles official. Only thing missing is a button for seeing all apps runing and switching between them.

Does everything you need it to do. Keyboard is sometimes a bit iffy but other than that fantastic. If you're struggling to get it to connect to device, do the search (1st icon) then close the app fully then reopen and the ip will show up and just tap that

This app is the best thing.. Connects to my android TV box and I can use my smartphone as mouse and keyboard.. Now it should have 1 page where there is both mouse and direction keys.. For now, it has these things on separate pages, so I have to toggle pages for doing simple tasks.. If developer can incorporate this feature, it will be perfect app.. Thanks for making this app..

When it works it gets your hopes up because it works well...... that one time, then the cursor disappears and it's no longer able to connect to the server and doesn't work at all.

This app used to work great. But just stopped working one day. Can not find my server. Don't know whats going on. I would give 5 stars if it worked. Since it used to work i will give it 2 stars lol..

Works great . Battery drain is kinda discouraging though. Ball feature - guessing air-mouse like - does nothing. Landscape would be great. Keep it up guys - it's really the only app I have tried and worked out of the box - after enabling the ”remote" on the box.

It works to control my Minix Android TV box. However, this app looks like it fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Was a 5 star app, not sure what happened but the track pad option has suddenly stopped working which I used on my android box. Right pain it now doesn't work. Was awesome price to this

I have the mx 3 google TV set up. This app works perfect. I just wish the app makers would specify to customers what system their app is catering too, instead of us playing guessing games..

If you have an Android Box & hate that crappy remote that came with it, then look no further! After trying many many & I mean many other remote apps that never worked I finally came across the one that does, right here. This remote app allows you to search with a keyboard layout, move the cursor with a mouse layout & control movies with a play/pause, stop, rev & fwd button layout. So far best Android Box remote app I've finally found after many others were a huge disappointment!

Perfect dont need anything more and after 5 mins. Of use restart my bix and sticks my phone had high hopes for thing but in the end failed

This app works a treat without any set up issues. Looked around for an app and this was the only one I could get to work. I have a Android TV box (not main stream) and the app found it straight away on wireless. Box is connected using Ethernet and this little app just used the wireless connection. One issue however is to do with the pop up keyboard., not all the characters seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is there a reset. Everything else, mouse etc works great.

Perfect remote for use over WiFi to control some of these off brand android KODI TV boxes. Unlike others I've tried this one found my device instantly and was controlling box in less than 30 seconds. No special requirements. WiFi permission and that's it. Couldn't be happier! No need to purchase any of those Bluetooth wireless touch pads. This does it all for free. My cell is now my KODI remote. Thank you!!!!!!

Finally, after searching a bunch of different remotes this app actually works! Just turned on my Android box and this app found it immediately. So easy! Also what is great about it is that you don't have to load a server app onto your Android box. Could not be simpler. Great app.

Where Android TV Remote fails to find the MXIII box, this one does. A little glitchy, but it does work. One drawback is battery drain. If I leave the app active, it kills my battery in minutes.

Works a treat while nothing else I tried would. Only downside is the app hasn't been updated since 2013 hence 4 stars, it also uses loads of battery power

Works ok but i cannot see where i tap on screen. Have to do it blindly. CAN'T drag or do finger commands. Not smart and not for android os. Tap drag click n drag rotate are non functional

I downloaded maybe 5 or 6 apps before this one with very little success! The main thing I was looking for was a track pad that would allow me to link to my M8S Android TV Box to give me a pointer or a mouse cursor and allow me to click on things that don't get highlighted by the directional pad. When you can't click on a button that you need to click on, it's ridiculously frustrating!! The other apps that I downloaded before this one wouldn't even connect to my device, this one connected right away!!

Good application, but I have noticed that something wrong happens with my ONEPlUS device as soon as I have started to work with this remote. 1) It is really power consuming application. 2% of two days cell work power, when the screen takes up to 17%  2) The second issue is required an investigation. The deal is that as soon as I have started to use the application, Keep awake process of the Android System started to consume energy  too and apps stop did not help. Reboot with delay helped.

Pretty rough product to use. It works, yes, but it's not very elegant. And the touch screen aspect of it, well, kind of like blind guessing. No cursor appears on the TV screen. It's better than nothing, but still a long ways from complete or easy.

Look for remote option in settings of box . Change to On if it's on off. Now you need ip address of the box. 192.168 . Now open the remote app press the add button with pen sign on it enter the ip and wait . It's appears on the remote. Now you are ready to use it

This and my MBox is the best thing in the world. This app is worth 6 stars. 5 for awesome and 1 for being free. If you have trouble with this app it's because you didn't setup correctly in your MBox menu to allow remote control via HTTP.

I had lost my remote and downloaded so many remote apps and none worked!!!!!!!! I am so happy that I found this app. I can't believe how well it works and how easy it is to use. All that being said, it does have some flaws. However I still think its the bestI am hoping I can find a multilingual keyboard in it. Thanks again.

Working fine when android box on. But when I turn it off there is huge battery drain of my phone (not sure if because of ads)

Worked well first time but crashed once and never worked since...?? Im still trying to figure out what happened. Just wont connect to my network now.

This application is capable to connect with any device. Just enter the ip and it comnects. All other applications i tried were unable to connect with my android box mostly asking for brand name and other configurations

Only gripe I've got with it so far is it uses its own keyboard not the phones which cuts off part of the end keys

Now I can control my m8 and mxq boxes. very easy setup only one thing is missing ON and OFF power button please can you add this fiction thanks

Having recently purchased an MXQ Media Box I've been looking for a compatible remote controller app because the remote controller that comes with the system is diabolical and after installing many other remote controller apps this is the only one that actually worked and it works perfectly! Fantastic, thank you!!

would improve to be able to press & hold to auto scroll through lists & to able send text using phone keyboard layout

Works very well, but drains the battery on my s2 and galaxy note 8. When i say drain, I mean about 40%per hour on phone and about 25%per hour on tablet.

Works great. Haven't found a replacement. But if there is one that uses less battery I will use that one. I have a keedox box with android connected to a TV.

This is a useless piece of crap

This is a very slick useful app that does what it advertises. Only downside is it doesn't fit the screen of my phone (Sony Xperia Miro). Otherwise instead of two stars I would have rated it 4 or 5.
