Rocketbook for Android
I'm rewriting my review to reflect the newest update. The developers behind this app have really listened to the feedback provided by the users and I appreciate that. The UI has been improved 10 fold. I still can't seem to find a list of variables for the names. I know they are there rocketbook. Please let us use them.
What happened to bundling pictures? Forcing me to bundle as PDF's are super inconvenient especially for evernote where sending bundled pics worked perfectly
It's great, just a suggestion. Could we have the ability to remove the default rocketbook name on the files I scan? I would prefer if I could also name my files dependant on the subject like if it's going into my math folder I'd like the file to be called "math 10/12/2017" that's all, apart from that it's so awesome!
What happened to naming of files? Files used to get pushed to my Dropbox with the name I typed in, now they come through as RB 2017-10-31.pdf or something similar
No OneDrive support. Bummer.
Great app and product as well. Are you planning to include Google Keep in the list with supported cloud apps?
Guys you have made a great notebook and an equally great app.. just loving it...
who do I need to talk to about some simple ideas for your company
Love the app, works great with OneNote
I would very much like to scan the files for Evernote as jpegs and send them all on the same note, which atm seems impossible. I don't want the pdf bundle because then it isn't seamless on evernote (pdfs are to be displayed separately). JPEGs would be way better, will you build the option in?
Amazing. Not sure how they make money but I love this product!
Could not get it to take a single scan. Hand written or typed. Completely useless.
Great app! I love my new rocket book!!#
I absolutely love this rocket book!! I hate having to buy notebooks all the time now I don't have too, plus all my notes get put in the right folder onto my google docs with a scan. Now I don't have to worry about loosing any work! Love it!!
Update : New UI makes it easier to navigate !! . Gets the job done . But a better UI is needed. i find that this is not the best eye caching app to use . Many new features can be added as this is should be the main focus of the company. Without the app the books are ordinary paper
All of the sudden when I change the name of the file before sending it reverts to the apps default name. Help! Wast of time if I can't name my files before saving to cloud. Update: had to reset my destination in the app by typing it in again; file names are working now.
Really simple to use. Scans and uploads my pages perfectly. Like the ability to rename before uploading but would like to see an option to rotate scanned pages as well.
Color ink detection could use a bit more improvement, blue ink is sometimes seen as black. The same with highliters since orange is scanned and shown as a mix of orange and yellow.
OneNote authentication/sign in doesn't work so I can't share notes to OneNote.
With no instructions arriving with my wave book, I proceeded to write notes on top of the faint icons, which get ignored and truncated by the scanner. Can we please have an option to scan everything in the border?
Please add Nextcloud/Owncloud support.
Bad app
Would love it to work! BUT... I linked every account, even created a couple of cloud accounts to test Rocketbook on. Well 2 days after I set it ALL up, I go into Evernote-no files, OneNote, no files...Now i have to start again? If it doesnt work correctly this time, it's gong back to Amazon
The review is for v2 of the app which is beautiful. Much better layout of everything and easier to organize destination folders. Scanned each page super fast and incredibly accurate with no tweaking of the settings. A couple of very minor quibbles that can be tweaked in time. But five stars and can only get better from here.
I really wanted to like it. I had insanely high hopes... I cannot scan it for the life of me. I've tried natural light, my flashlight on my phone. Doesn't scan. Will I have to return it... Probably.
This app won't scan my everlast rocketbook. I have tried I don't know how many f**king times and it just doesn't want to scan. I wish there was a manual way of doing it!!!
It's a great concept, app and notepad, I find myself to be too lazy to clean the notepad though. A nice addition to the app would be nextcloud! New update is stunning.
Scans fine but syncing never worked which defeats the purpose. I tried email and OneNote and nothing. Can you fix please?
It's a good app, I like that it let's me bundle the notes into one PDF as I scan. I also like the new material design.
App works fine, visual update is stunning!
Works great, lovely clear scans. I highly recommend the everlast
I am extremely disappointed in this apps all or nothing permission design. Both Google Drive and Dropbox allow developers to allow users to choose what folders to give an app access to yet with this app we must give it full access to all of our Google Drive or Dropbox files this is not an option for me because of several contracts and HIPA Compliance. (confidential information in my accounts) I will change my rating to very high if this one feature is changed so I can pick folders that the app is given permissions for. Also no the thing they have now is not what I am talking about they have full access
This app is awesome! Altough the ui is pretty poor, five star for compensating for all those idiots that think that you can scan normal paper, you can't, thats why they put 1 star.
F**k Very wrost app I ever used. It does'nt scan my page
As an early user I'm impressed with the progress of this app. v2 is looking great
Super useful! Wish I could send one symbol to multiple services, but works great. Dark colors all tend to become indistinguishable (ie:purple, green, black look black) and only neons really stand apart (pink, light blue) Haven't tested other frixion products besides the color ballpoints
I can't get my files to properly send to Box! Please help, i want this app to work
Outdated widgets. Some buttons don't do what they say they do. Poor app design.
This doesn't have OneDrive!!!!!!

Mind: blown. One runs out of superlatives. This app let me print my own rocketbook paper to try it out completely free. I now own a rocket book wave and a four-colour erasable biro. My notes are taken down exactly as before but instead of files and files to carry with me, everything can go on designated Google drive folders or to designated email folders (or Dropbox etc) depending on which box I tick on the rocketbook paper. One runs out of superlatives. Keep up the amazing work guys!!
