This is app is PERFECT for listening to WTNV. At least at first. After listening to three or four podcasts it's suddenly not functioning at all. The play in app button doesn't work and the URL button doesn't either. Transcripts works fine though, so there's that. It seems other listeners are having this issue also. Will rate five stars if it's fixed.

Love the app, have been using it to catch up with nightvale, and having something to listen to in the way to work. Now the app won't play any of the episodes. I've tried reinstalling and having other people download it, and it still doesn't work. Please fix the bug, I really do enjoy this app.

So, whenever I get another notification or go onto a certain app, the podcast just stops and I have to go back to put it back on. Also, you should maybe see if you can make a mark thing so that you can go back to what you were listening to later. Other than that, it's a great app.

The "play in app" feature STILL doesn't work. Please fix! This is a great concept but it's kinda pointless without that feature. I'll give it 5 stars if it's fixed.

I love this app, but the audio only plays for maybe five episodes on the entire list. It just simply refuses to play. I do like the opinion to read the episode because of this.

I had this app a while ago but when I downloaded it again the episodes wouldn't play. Looking at other reviews, it seems like it's a problem for all users where the audio just stopped in general.

I've redownloaded and restarted the app several times and it still will not play any of the episodes, I click the play in app button: nothing. I click the open URL: error 404. Thats all I get and idk what to do

It started of just fine but before the even finished the intro it cuts off. :/ I'm not impressed.

I love this app, very efficient and helpful. Easy and fun. But, after awhile it just suddenly stopped working. I try playing it in app but nothing happens. Then I try the URL but it cannot be found, apparently it doesn't exist. I had a friend of mine install the app but the same thing happened to then except it didn't even work in the first place. They installed it and tried an episode but nothing happened.

I was happy to find a special app just for listening to WTNV and it worked perfectly for a wile. But suddenly it stopped playing on both my tablet and my phone. When I try to play an episode, clicking "play in app" nothing happens. I just re-installed it on my tablet but it didn't help, so the app still doesn't work :((

The app is great! Seems caught up on its content and the transcripts really help out if I just briefly missed something.My issue is probably merely because of my own lack of knowledge on this matter, but with the downloading. I know you click open app URL and all that, but my file manager will not come up in the options to open it with. Being this IS the way to download the content I assume, is there any particular file manager app that is definitely compatible with the app and will allow me to download it?

overall, this is good. one thing i'd like to see in later versions, though. a pause/rewind/fast forward feature so you can start listening where you left off instead of having to restart the entire broadcast over again. this would be insanely helpful. also, support for more third-party audio player apps.

I loved this app and used it all the time...the links to the audio URLs and transcripts were so helpful. However recently, the app stopped working. Whenever I click play, nothing at all happens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's still non- functional. Please fix, I loved this app!

None of the episodes apart from two recent ones will play in app. And when I try to use the "open in browser" option it gives and unavailable screen. Hoping this gets resolved because I'd love to actually be able to listen to episodes on this app..

I love welcome to night Vale but there is one problem not sure if its just me or if there are some episodes that will not play at all or open up with the URL it comes as an error 404. I'm playing catch up and would love to be able to hear the entirety of this masterpiece.

I really enjoy this App but it's starting to lag behind a bit. I don't need the app to stay up to date on a day to day basis but within a week or so. When it gets updated I'll change my rating back to five stars, which is where it belongs.

Amazingly Bizzare and Funny And strange, gripping, a bit scary, there is a hooded figure that watches you sleep, watching you read this right now, good luck during the weather, and never Ever go to awful Desert Bluffs! Also ( this is Vital) Do Not Go to the Dog Park, or think on it, or bring your dog, or especially speak to the disturbing tall cloaked figures.

Edit Edit: still broken. Won't play. Edit: tentative hope at this being corrected. I had to rate WtN at one star because I can't rate it with a zero. My issue is that suddenly, within the past few days, the ap broke. I can no longer play episodes through the ap while the rest of the features such as transcripts work fine. I see I'm not the only one with this issue and I'm hoping enough poor reviews can get this great piece working again.

I tried to delete this app everyday for a week straight but it's the only thing I have on my phone anymore. I'm convinced I can't be rid of it until I've listened to every episode. It's endless though....

The only thing I could pull up was the transcript of each episode. The audio kept giving me the 'error not found' message. I enjoy reading the transcripts, but not without the audio. If this problem is resolved, i would be very happy

I woke up one morning and I found this app on my phone. When I click it, I find I've lost hours or even days of time, my memory of that time filled with a blackness darker than any blackness imagined by man. I've deleted this app several times, but when I wake up the next morning, after dreaming of ghoulish wails and demonic screams of agony no human could ever even want to imitate, I find my phone covered in blood, blood that isn't my own. Once I've cleaned the blood off, I find the app has returned.

The podcast itself is worthy of 5 stars, the inability to download podcasts is depressing. What about when I am way out in the boonies and need my WTNV fix or need to have my phone on airplane mode? Why won't it automatically play the next episode? Will these aspects to the app be addressed in upcoming updates?

I had this app previously on my old phone and it worked like a charm. I downloaded it onto my new phone and none of the episodes will play either in app or online. I click play in url and it just comes up with an error code.

I love nightvale dearly, but this app is really poorly done. I have to restart my phone all the time because of the way it crashes. I feel it could also do with a way to bookmark my place so I don't have to find it manually every time.

I listened to most of the episodes through this and used the links to download them to my phone to take to work, but recently like half of the links stopped working, so now it's much harder to download them

The app opens, and I can read the transcripts, but I downloaded this to listen to wtnv, not read it. Nothing will play in app, and when I open the url it just says "not found". Kinda useless if I can't even listen to the show. Samsung galaxy s3 by the way

I can only read the pilot transcript, can't listen or download it. Rest of episodes seem to work though. Loving story already!

None of the earlier episodes are accessible. When selecting the "Open URL" option a 404 error occurs.

the only problem i seem to find is that it won't work while i'm using any other app (such as facebook, twitter, etc). thanks a lot, from a fan xoxo

I love this app but recently it will only let me play a few episodes. Most of them have stopped working.

It does not stop playing when I unplug earphones or when answering a phonecall from a vague yet menacing government agency

I love it. I share it with my brother, but thing is I can't replay the ones I have heard anymore. It won't let me.

When will it update to include latest episodes? Because it's a few months behind right now

I've listened to about 11 of them now. On 12 - The Canidate. This is an amazing and interesting podcast. ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD!

I love everything about Nightvale but this app simply did not work. Wouldn't play episodes in app and 404'd when tried open URL option. Please fix!

Well i was super enjoying this app but all of a sudden it won't work. :-( I have tried deleting and reloading.

Episode links don't work, nor does it play in app. What is this app's purpose without those key elements?
