Awesome app. Want to buy the best game deals online? Download this app. Very easy to use, select a game and search that's it. Games are out of your budget? Save it as your wishlist and once it goes on sale it will notify you. It's that simple.
Would like to see the sorting options from the PC version in here
Loved it
Please add Philippines also add region 4-a of Philippines thx.
Keep up the great work!
The best app to find a best deals on the video games...period!!!!!
I first used Razer Cortex on pc with the Razer Game Booster a few years ago, except I didn't really use the deals feature often. After using this app, I kinda regret not using that feature a lot sooner. It's also a whole lot better than I remember as well. I've always enjoyed Razer products and they continue improving. Keep up the good work!
I like the app, but there were a few oddities that could use smoothing out. 1.) I feel like if I'm on any other page but the main one, the back button on the navbar (I'm on Android) should being me to the previous page instead of asking if I want to close the app. It would feel more natural if it would ask if I want to close only on the main page. 2.) I'm not a fan of the gradient background. It feels very 90s web design/quickly chosen. Perhaps a green colored flare/rubberband effect when you swipe to ano
Great app to have in this age of flash deals and seasonal sales. Given that it's almost impossible to check all websites everyday for the best offers. The layout is very stylish and easy to follow with the all important wish list feature making finding the games you want very easy when their price comes down. I'm just disappointed its PC only! Given it's Razer though it's hardly surprising.
I've been using the app with a Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1. At first glance, the app makes a solid impression. The contents are very nicely prepared and clear. The push notifications are very helpful. So I'm always informed about desired deals. The fact that the app is not ready yet I notice. The app is not running smoothly everytime and the design and the features are not perfect. In addition, the app should be available in several languages, if possible. My final conclusion is as follows: The app is a very good supplement for the Cortex desktop application. The app is not perfect but the things which are not ready yet are not so bad. Also, I am a very big fan of Razer and like products very much. Best regards hacky998 aka. hacky98
Although it really can find nice deals among platforms. I don't find it so much useful regarding search and download. As a steam user I still can search through steam store and find the deals there. Also it needs better collaboration when redirecting the user. And of course this review was written so i can enter Razer's draw.
I enjoy razers products I own three myself I own a black widow chroma keyboard and a kraken pro headset and the Razer Naga chroma there products are well made , the app is a little slow and bugy but with some time it will be nice to use when shopping for game deals
Interesting app. Shows games that are on sale from multiple sources, i.e Amazon, Steam, GreenmanGaming. However, I feel it's a bit lacking. The search options only include genres of games at the moment. I believe the app could be improved if an advanced search system was to be added. For example, search options that let you search according to price range, sale percentage, etc. Nonetheless, a pretty useful app.
Alright the concept of this app is an actual good concept. I do like the feature of adding games to my wishlist and getting emails about sales of these games. The app itself runs well, I haven't experienced any crashes. Personally I have a love-"hate" relationship with Razer products. I do like and own Razer products which I absolutely love. The only "hate" part is that there's so much neat products I can't afford. Regardless, Razer actually saves me (along with everyone else) money with this app. Who doesn't love a good sale. When you can't wait for the steam sales, come here!
Inspite being in early stages of development, the Razer Cortex app has the potential of turning out great if it manages to include some of the features of the desktop app, Support for other currencies besides U.S Dollars is imperative, and a less choppy UI can be archieved with ease it the future if Razer puts down the work in the mobile version as they did with the desktop one. Anyways, I recommend for anyone with a decent smartphone to try it keeping in mind it still needs a lot of improvments. A good starting point for Razer.
The program was slightly laggy and slow at times. I'm sure that can ve fixed. Otherwise its a really convenient app.
Okay, downloaded the app. Good things: the app works without any crashes, so far. It's free, which is also a great thing. The built of the pages is easy to learn. Bad things/where improvement should be added: it's greatly slowing down the phone (Oneplus One E 1003) And uses very big amount of the RAM. More deals should be aviable in the Eastern-Europe region. The syncing with the app with the PC shall be optimized. And one last thing: It will be an awsome app, but lot of improvements have to be added to enjoy it with every type of phones (even the older smartphones(not mine, but think about everyone) and in every region. Cheers from Hungary!
It seems like this is a great app to keep up on the great deals for us gamers out there. As we all know games can be pretty spendy, so the deals are always a plus! The app seems pretty simple and easy to use. Great tool to have for an everyday gamer!
I really love the concept behind this app. However it's like Razer said in the FAQ themselves: the app is still in beta stage. Here are some ideas that might me useful: add trailer/gameplay videos to the game pages, you could add some interaction possibilities for the users, (comments, reviews about games, chatbox). Also, if it's already a Razer app, why not show the very best sales of their own products as well.
This app was a must have for games deals, but lately i get notifications for games that are on their regular price, my wish list shows deals but when i open the game deals there are no such deal that Cortex showed just a window before. Oh, and i turned push notifications off and still getting them. This last is specially annoying when you start getting notification several time in a row for game that is not even on sale. I hope it will be fixed.
Currently I own a Razer chroma Blackwidow Tournament Edition and that thing is a beauty. Besides the smaller design than most keyboards it allows you to use Razer synapse in order to make the keyboard truly yours with several different lighting customizations. And different apps like the famous audio visual everyone loves but for some reason it won't work in the Razer Blackwidow TE Chroma but alas if you think razer is only in it for the money well youre wrong they have this app called razer cortex for free
Well after litterally a year razer still has not updated there app and can run somewhat good on my galazy s4 but you still run into the memory leak problem as with a 1gb ram phone/tab where the app eats every piece of ram you have. Luckily it last a bit loger with the additional gb on my s4 but still runs like crap and crashes like crap and burns my cpu like crap.
I like how it compiles deals from other sites. Best of all it's an app can't wait for some games to go on sale
I never buy games without going through Cortex anymore, and it has saved me so much money. It's even featured games that I forgot about, allowing me to finally purchase them. Cortex is a must-have for any gamer.
Razer is on the right track for creating a unified price tracker for games, but they still need to iron out software bugs and poor performance optimization.
I have been using Cortex for a while but on my Asus Zenfone 2, it crashes as soon as I try to open the app. I wish I could rate it higher, but I cant until it boots.
I installed the app!! It is cool the app does exactly t that razer says!! It does not allow anymore to miss any deal you interest of!! To miss the deal of must not have money like all other gamers :P !!!! But i don't like that it take to your browser to buy the deals it could have an in-app browser!! So why don't you make an Razer mobile browser light and super fast with your cool logo RAZER?!?!?!
Great app, really does show the best deals. You can get really recent game for a very low price! Great job razer!
I like this app cuz its very usefull but i saw a bit lagg and optimization problems and also i would like to see more tabs such as a genre selection in latest deals
Really good idea to create an app like this. I'll definitely be treating myself to something from here in a couple of weeks when my birthday rolls around.
The app works very well on my Moto G (2015), and has no bugs. It's also great to see that you can sync Cortex between devices now.
The app sounded awesome after I saw the youtube ad for this. But the app is extremely slow and has bad optimization for a phone app that looks so simple. The app causes your phone to slow down to almost a halt whenever you try to do anything in the app as if the app was eating every ounce of RAM your phone has
Can't get past the first slide of the app. You have the option to sign in or to skip the sign in. Both options cause the app to crash on my LG G3. Not sure why. Hoping there's a fix soon because I love catching good deal.
Cortex itself is a great pc application for the screenshot videos and deals. Glad they've made a mobile version so I can surf the deals
I have been using Cortex for a while but on my Asus Zenfone 2, it crashes as soon as I try to open the app. I wish I could rate it higher, but I cant until it boots.
Razer nocked it out of the park here. This app is great with helping you to find the best deals on old and new games alike.
I use this app for PC to boost games by suspending processes and freeing RAM to dedicate towards gaming. The suspension and tweaking is done automatically at game launch and requires no user input. There are also deals, of course. Highly recommended.
This app will find deals on games no doubt. But most of the deals are still not as cheap as other sources like g2a. Also I can't find a way to change from dollars to another currency e.g. GBP

The optimization is really bad at it current state. Hopefully it will get better soon.
