GEOINT 2012 Symposium for Android
More than does the job
Very useful and has all the info I need.
Nice way to provide all the info for those of us who are paper averse to paper.
Nice app. Informative.
This is my first experience with the app. I will say that it does a fine job of aggregating information. Unfortunately the app seems to be unpolished. Some homescreen items are simply redirects to web pages and the back button seems to be inconsistent. Useful, but could definitely use a bit more development and integration.
Looked good, until it stopped working. Locks up everytime I try to view the agenda.
Does a reasonable job of presenting the information. The UI is very rough with inconsistent managing of the back button and several iOS-like conventions that are out of place on Android. Two of those are visible in the third screenshot: the "home" button and the day of the week buttons that aren't swipe-able tabs. I guess it's better than carrying around a stack of papers.
The positive: It does a great job at highlighting the agenda. The Social Feed is slick and I love how it has the bios of all the keynote speakers. This is a half baked product. Not surprising coming from Raytheon. Seriously, linking to a webpage for the floor map that isn't even mobile formatted? The directory is completely separated from the main floor map. What if i wanted to look up my location using GPS, IPS, or WiFi relative to a specific? However, I'm not one to complain without a few suggestions. * Integrate more social feeds other than Twitter * Interactive Map in the App that combines the directory with the map itself. Example if someone clicks on the map on a specific booth they should have the information pop up there in addition to the textual directory. It's the Geospatial Industry after all. Just don't link to a website. * Indoor location is hard and often you rely on your users having the right app but if the app was customized to click on one booth and route to another. That could be an excellent best practice. * Make the app more social, help me keep track other attendees I meet there. Login with registration and share contact info with another attendee?
Looks like this will be very handy for me. Will know more at the end of the show.
Meh
I downloaded last year and again this year. It's great that I don't have to fumble through paperwork and have all the information I needed at my fingertips! Thanks
Easy to use Very useful and has all the info I need.
Buggy! Dont bother.... Looked good, until it stopped working. Locks up everytime I try to view the agenda.

Going Green Nice way to provide all the info for those of us who are paper averse to paper.
Props! Nice app. Informative.

Great data - Staying Green I downloaded last year and again this year. It's great that I don't have to fumble through paperwork and have all the information I needed at my fingertips! Thanks
Slow and clunky UI The UI isn't as responsive as other conference applications I've used. The content is good however.
