You've got the whole world in your hands with the VIIRS View Spinning Marble. VIIRS View wraps gorgeous, high-definition satellite imagery of the Earth around a spinning globe. Swoosh over storm patterns emerging above Antarctica. Zoom in on the fishing fleet lined up along international boundaries off the coast of Japan. Three data sets - visible light, chlorophyll concentration, low-light imagery - provide a glimpse into the type of data meteorologists and climatologists use every day to track the weather and monitor the global environment. Toggle between each VIIRS View to create an endless variety of spinning marbles.

Using the infrared feature I should be able to see the ancient city in the Nile delta. No city. Same with all the other so called apps like this. Don't waste your time. Use Google Earth on your pc. The only way to get real satellite detail.

Should invest some money and add a usability person to the team. Functionally it works but the user experience is sorely lacking.

TOS/EULA only displayed top half on HTC Thunderbolt (ICS) screen. Bottom half blank. Unable to find 'accept' button so unable to install.

The pinch to zoom in and out is pretty buggy. And also it is extremely sensitive, switching from portrait to landscape from barely moving the phone.
