Water Color Pencil Lite

This is such a great app! The tools are more realistic than any other art apps I've gotten. With the lite version, you get pencil, two different kinds of pens, and an eraser, but when you pay the $2 for full version, you get a marker, water brush for blending, and a paint brush. I would suggest this to any artist, beginning or advanced, and to those complaints about the pricing? It says $1 when you go to buy it at first, but when you go to put your password in, it says $2. Please fix the pricing on your game!

The free app version is..... OK, I guess?

I love this app. This is my favorite past time. Hobby. I have a note 5 and I love to take pictures and change them to black and white and load then in this app and make beautiful pictures. I can't draw. So I use grayscale images. But with this app I can watercolor I can use pencils, I can use markers, use all types of textures and blend colors and change transparencies. I can't also change how much pigment is used in each stroke. I can't say enough good things about this app. I have had it for about a year and a half. I have made over 150 artworks

I liked the idea of a simple water color app, but I had to click on the brush several times to select it and that drove me crazy. I'm using a Note 4 and I don't have problems with other apps. Not pressure sensitive is also a big draw back. I didn't think it simulated water color very well either. I realize that this is cheap app so I didn't expect much, but this is useless.

If you are a real media artist you will be impressed by how much this ap approximates the real thing. The tools behaviors and textures produce the results you expect. The sensible but limited settings let you focus on your art. No layers. No millions of settings. Just one warning: Save often.

I usually don't take the time to review apps but this watercolor is excellent. It also has all kinds of other art tools. It is realistic and even though there's a version you can buy the free version allows you to do a great deal things with all the tools

Very interesting art app. Heres what it needs....a smudge tool-but Im guessing the full version does have one. The brush pen would probably act as one. Also...Better size adjuster. And it is quite slow/laggy and the top icons blink on/off as you lift pencil. The way u select colored pencils in the bottom tray is AWESOME. Thanks.

The colors are just perfect and blending is great. CONS: brush is pixelated, sizes should be more customizable, no pressure sensitivity, UI looks dated, no layering.

It says it has pressure sensitivity but it doesn't. Nowhere can I find the settings to change that. So we paid the $1, no, the $2 hoping that might change it. It doesn't and there seems to be no way to get a refund.

I went to pay the in-app purchase to upgrade to full use of all the features. An explanation of what I would be purchasing came up in a pop up with the price clearly stating $1.00 USD. Fantastic I think. Not that I am cheap but I use Google reward points to pay for these and I'm picky. So I go to purchase, and it's not one dollar, it's 2. I'm done. I'll find something else to do while passing time and can't take my art supplies with me.

I like the concept. Drawing with the app is easy. Works well with my Adonit Dash 2. So, did I just not see it or is the "water blending brush" missing?

It works and I love what I draw I am in love with this app it is so awsome whenever I am bord I go to my tablet and go do some of my art and it makes me smile

I really like to draw with this app, everytime i get home drunk there is a new piece of art, but still there are some crashes, who really annoy me, thats the reason for 4 stars in everything else the app is great! Used with the HTC One

Layers please, and the ability to import images. Also, purchased this, but unclear as to what are the differences?

Guys wuts the deal here it's a good app how could you not like it oh maybe u rate one star because u can't sketch well listin up I can't sketch but I don't care well anyway asome app all that work did pay off 5 stars for u ***** while they give u 1star *:'( I agree with harp angel

It works great on my new Samsung pro 8.4 lagging only on water color paint 5 stars if you guys can add oil painting thanks cool app

Whoever engineered this app is awesome. On most apps the pens, pencils and brushes do not have their own character when in use. These do!!!

Really like this app. The only thing I can say is it will quit? Not sure why. After I open back up its fine.

It could be more sensitive when changing brushes. Plus a smudge effect would be awesome. Also, if you could add a function that could detect tilt of screen that would be unmatched. Perhaps import photos. Other then that its very realistic

Not good for 7 inch tablet screens. I'll have to purchase a bigger tablet.

I had this app before, but had to do a factory reset on my tablet. Reinstalled the app, and now it won't open. Bummer - it was pretty impressive before, especially for a freebie.

Absolutely worth the $2! The brushwork looks wonderful and the airbrush and fountain pen are fun to play around with. I love the delicacy that is possible when using this app!

I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable and easy to use art applications on android. The only thing missing I MO are layers, but that does not detract from the five stars it deserves. Well worth the money for the full version.

I really loved this app but I had to reset my phone and had to reinstall this app. I had even purchased it but after reinstalling it is not opening. :-( Please fix it and I will change it to 5* as it deserves 5* if it works.

Love the app but when it crashes more than 3 times in 5 mins and then continues to crash is ridiculous!!! Count on this app for some of my artwork and this is unacceptable. .. PLEASE do something about it. Was thinking about getting pro will not until this one improves

Versatile and complete. Tools and colors promote artistic work. Fun to use!!

The application is incomplete without water brush. Otherwise, it is good application. I liked it but I can't say how the colour wash would be worked out. However, you can work with colour pencils, crayons, pens etc. In that Sense you would not need water brush.

The app has great potential but loses out in many respects. Have purchased the full version but am not happy. Sticking to sketchbook pro for now. Here is my take on the app. 1. S-pen functionality is good but the stroke lags too much for tactile painting 2. App is very unstable......quits 7 out of 10 times 3. Not HD.....hello......looks shoddy when on a note pro 12.2....... 4. UI is terribly old school (which can still be tolerated) 5. choosing a colour is a pain from the wheel. A pantone or a copic library can be very useful. No custom Pallette either. The Watercolour options (wet and dry) are fantastic. beats any other app in this respect.

I use my tablet with stylus to draw with this but the response is quite slow unlike other sketching apps I've downloaded. I liked the variety of the materials and how close they look to the real thing but the response to the strokes of the stylus is too slow for my taste. Please optimize that and I promise to give a better rating later.

This app. Is right up there with my top 5 drawing apps. I've tried many, only fell in love with 5 out of them all.

I played this and it was artist dream an d i also drove my friend to play it and now we make youtube videos togetther as HotFlamingNinja

Excellent! There are no layers available but that makes it all the more like really painting with watercolor or pens and pencils... I just love this app and think it deserves more stars than people are giving. And well worth the money. Well done guys, and thank you.

It opened only once, after I downloaded it. And I loved it. But now it won't open no matter what I try.
