RayControl allows you to remotely view and control a-Series (Wi-Fi models), c-Series, e-Series and g-S Multifunction Displays from your tablet.
Android/Kindle Fire = Best performance achieved with 1GHz processor or better and running Android 2.2.2 or later.

Remotely control and view electronic charting, sonar, radar, and even thermal night vision, right from your tablet.
RayControl emulates Raymarine MFDs with touch screen interaction and a virtual slide-out MFD keypad. The slide out keypad gives you control of all MFD functions and the virtual uni-controller allows you to rotate through menus and adjustments effortlessly.
To use this app please upgrade your Raymarine wiFi enabled Multi-Functional Display to software version 3.15 or later. Software upgrades are available for free at www.raymarine.com/support.
Getting Started
Download the RayControl app, and install it on your device. You should ensure your device has access to the internet when initially installing to enable verification of the app. Next, connect to your Multifunction Display via Wi-Fi (see MFD operators manual for Wi-Fi setup details). When the Wi-Fi connection is established, launch the app. You should now see the same image on your mobile device as you do on your Raymarine multifunction display.
Note - autopilot activation/deactivation is not possible via a mobile device.

Most of the negative reviews are from users that either don't know how the MFD wifi works or think that it should connect via Bluetooth. Consider the source of the reviews. This worked for me with no issues. Set up your MFD wifi, then connect your tablet/phone to that network. I have radar, AIS, Sirius Weather, etc. And can control all from the app. I will agree with critics that say the display is better or worse depending on your device. But it works, people.

App connects and works fine with a Galaxy Tab A and Raymarine E7, but the tablet display freezes within a few minutes of use. I have downloaded the latest lighthouse software, but it still freezes.

A shame as it was the only one of the Raymarine Apps (Control/Remote/Viewer) that allowed me to use all the functions on my a75 remotely.

The app is great but locks up, freezes looses the plotter connection (despite the WiFi still reporting being connected) and won't reconnect without restarting the tablet or phone both have the same issues

It works on my Galaxy Tab S2 but with problems. I get occasional streaming errors and the display does not fill the entire screen but has black bars along top and bottom as if it assumes that it is a wide screen tablet. It worked much better on my last tablet, an iPad Air2.

RayMarine CONTROL will connect to my new GALAXY TAB PRO I can view the MD but the touch screen function for zoom and pan does not work.

Just have to keep an eye on it as the app has locked up the tablet a few times and I had to reset it. When it works, it's fantastic!

Tablet connects to device Wifi but app reports that it cannot find a MFD at startup. Please fix!

As in fully baked...;-) Some limitations..but more from the product side then the remote software. Example...you can only connect to the MFD via WiFi. The Bluetooth function of the unit is ONLY for remote control of the tablet audio from the MFD. Too bad that they did not include full network capability via BT. Why? Two reasons...one...you can only link to one WiFi connection, so when you connect from the pad to the MFD, you must drop your link to the Internet. Not a big deal for many...however, if you're wanting to use the remote audio controls from the MFD to the pad AND you want to run the RayControl..you're SOL...the audio control function WILL NOT WORK along with RayControl.

Good app, does not need control for autopilot. It would be unsafe to have it. However does need support for 7" tablets running android 4.1.1

This was brilliant and entering way points from tablet on my knee was so much easier. However now not working. My Samsung tab pro will not start app and my Samsung galaxy s5 will not send any commands. Wondering if recent android upgrade is cause and we can expect an app update soon? ****** Update. Upgraded Lighthouse on my plotter and now all working again. Looks like app and plotter versions need to be kept in sync. Happy!
