WCSC Live 5 News

I really do like having this app to watch the news in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. I understand the need for having a short commercial play before the live feed kicks in, but I have had documentary length ads start to play. I had to back out and click through 6 times this morning before I got one that was less than 20 minutes long with no option to skip the ad. The longest one was 45 min. What is the logic behind watching a 20 minute commercial in order to get to see a 30 minute news cast?

My only complaint is still breaking news alerts. When I click on a breaking news alert the news is not yet in the app. The link goes nowhere. Please either make the alerts more descriptive until the article materializes or sync the alert to the actual article before sending alert.

This version has removed the loud alerts and doesn't send as many unimportant ones.

Comparatively speaking, it's the best you will get in Charleston. News 2 would be better but malfunctions constantly. Ads are terrible but no worse than the rest

I really do like this app but if you send me an alert please have the linked story ready to read. That's my only complaint.

Live 5 News app is great. I can check traffic, weather, gas prices and their news is always on top of things!

I am unable to locate the Settings for your site. I'm receiving every notification and not every notification is note worthy. addressing

I wish someone would edit these post. There are so many grammar mistakes that it drives me nuts to read it sometimes.

Right now news by informative notifications make a big difference in my day. It's nice to not have to search constantly.

It's great to know the latest without being glued to a TV or having to wait until you're home

A lot of times a story will pop up on my home screen, but when I click on it the story isn't available on the app yet.

When I get news alerts and click there is nothing about the story. Fix this and you would get a higher ratings on you app.

Only problem i have is the audio on the app.when i watch videos i have to put my ear next to the speaker..audio is to low and hard to hear..pls fix... Update thank you for fixing the volume on the videos

I love this app but it needs limited commercials.

I love LIVE 5 and when not home I'm still seeing it! Luv this app.

It gives you hour by hour information and you don't have to guess what's happening.

I enjoy getting Low Country news here in Elon North Carolina.

Breaking news issue is my only complaint

It's my 1st choice when it comes to the local news , love it , been watching it since I was a child

I'm always on point with the news when anyone asks me. Because I get updates as it's happening.

Great app for the news...but doesn't always have all the stories that are broadcast.

I use app everyday. No matter where i am i still get my news. So thanks for that.

Gives notifications on breaking news, but that story opens less than 10% of the time! Come on....fix your app! Update 2/5/16: Notifications are still not working. Downgraded from 3 stars to 1. I'll give it a week or two. If the problem is not resolved, I'll uninstall the app. Update 2/24/16: Still getting notifications but no story. UNINSTALLED!
