Raumfeld Controller

Raumfeld's devices + Wimp (TIDAL) is the best way to listen the music. And now with the new interface RAUMFELD is perfect.

Several hangups after switching songs. After restart screen turns black. Not possible to stop app unless forced. Doesnt keep playlists in memory so needs to reload every time. Not a step forward compared to previous version. Still not posible to set volume level on optical out causing overloading DAC and clipping

Mit dem letzten "Update" leider kaputtgespielt. Radiosenderwechsel nur noch selten möglich, abhängig vom Sonnenstand? Update: Nun weiß ich, daß ich nach dem Einschalten von Lautsprecher und Tabletten "nur" ungefähr eine Stunde warten muß; dann wird das Verhalten besser und im "last played" Tab wird der letzte Sender sogar wieder richtig einsortiert. Der Support hat bis jetzt nur mit einem Textbaustein geantwortet.

Improved and works as expected

The setup out of the box needs to be flawless; otherwise most people will be less interested in how great these speakers sound. It took me two attempts to get the speaker on to my network. Once it's running, the hardware is real value.

The app cant find the raumfeld one, the music drops out... Thanks- changing my internet/wifi/modem supplier improved the quality of the network. However the app seems to freeze/crash on Android from time to time. The app loses the network, spotify plays fine... outside the raumfeld app. what an annoyance hope there will be an update soon. - update : i bought the expander, and now it seems to work fine !

Nice to see the you guys push constantly updates to the app and the speakers! I only recognize a delay on the 3.5mm input jack after I listened to music via Spotify connect. A restart fixes the problem

It works fine but when you try it the next time, can be an hour or a day later, it can't find my rooms or it can't connect. Asks me to turn my devices on when they already are. Endlessly tries to connect. It is driving me nuts! Edit, firmware 1.62 is out, 3 stars now, tested it for a day and the connection problems seem solved! What took you so long Teufel? More stars if it keeps working like this...

After using Raumfeld now for 2 years I can say that the software improved alot and works 90-95% of the time perfectly. I'm sure they will fix the rest soon.

First the good bits... the Stereo cubes occasionally work. Now the bad bits... Where do I start?! Wireless Setup is a pain in the b... My cubes just don't want to be set up. Update done, still no hope they will ever play anything. Before my move they had worked but the wireless cut out too often. When connected to the TV by cable they keep cutting out for 2-5 seconds every minute or two (which is just annoying!). Support told me that's if the Sound is too low but i have it at 50 on my Sony Bravia. This is just a pain. Anyone want to buy some cubes. Almost unused :'( I give you 100 Euros to take them! (joke)

The app does the job adequately. One issue is the equaliser as the bass increase isn't enough. It needs increasing. Can you take a look at this please?

Every update hides another issue, no speaker found, music library disappeared, speaker became self controlled, good morning I am awake now, technical support sucks, weak response time, no solutions, no clue - it's still a start up hosting in a garage - your disappointed customer

After the update the sounds on the handy sounds terrible ... Only second services (soundcloud) work fine.

Google Cast finaly. Now we are able to play music from any device to all or just one Raufeld device. Android, desktop, tablet, laptop.... It just works. Superb quality. Keep up the good work. Tip to make your raumfeld/teufel hardware not loose connection with your wifi. Prolong the leasetime of your dhcp router. I set it to a week now and never have issues since.

I use the app since more than a year together with a One M, a set of Stereo Cubes and a One S. The app runs on Android 4.2.2 (FP1). Finally google cast is here and I am happy with the functionality. The app let me browse my library by artist, album, genre, composer and folder, from a usb disk connectet to a raumfeld device. However my Fritz Box (7390) media server does not support FLAC files.

Sorry but this app is a real let down to what are great speakers (cubes). The app goes back to home screen if you scroll too quickly, the album artwork is not always accurate and you end up having one album used for almost all the libraries.

Last couple of updates have been great. And now, with Chromecast support, I'm very happy with the app overall. Great job, team!

Recent update supposedly enables Raumfeld speakers for Google Cast. Very unstable, currently worthless.

Nachdem wir endlich Spotify Multiroom geniessen konnten und das nach anfänglichen Problemen auch ganz gut lief bringt nun das neuste Update Google Cast und damit läuft jetzt Spotify Multiroom gar nicht mehr. Musik hören Fehlanzeige. Echt was soll das denn jetzt?

Best sound ever i have heard been produced by a sound system. The app is user friendly.

Still connection problems

The speakers are realy great. The software most of the time. I don't now why but now and then I have to setup the rooms again because I can't controll them anymore by the app. The buttons on the speaker are still working with the saved playlists, but I can't connect with the app.

Still no Google cast support, which has been promised for almost a year now! And there is no timeline as to when it will be supported!!

Works again.

Update 21.10: Covers are now showing up! I just signed up to a free trial with Tidal. So far, everything works fine with the exception of no album covers being shown. Same issue btw. on an ipad. Did I miss any configuration?

If I compare it with Naim is not that great. However is reliable, easy to use and has sufficient functions without being cluttered. It is a must to include Amazon Music.

Die App verbindet sich, trotz sehr schnellen Internets und Anschluss direkt übers Lan-Kabel mit den Stereo Cubes oft erst nach Neustart selbiger. Dann ist die App nochdazu sehr langsam. Seit dem neuesten Update der Lautsprecher funktioniert meist garnichts mehr. Sie App kommentiert dies mit: "Bitte schalten Sie ein Abspielgerät ein".

App is crashing all the time and the only think to do is to restart phone and Raumfeld unit.

Bad, really bad and hardly usable. This app runs on 3 different devices in my network - all with different Android versions (4.0.4, 5.0.2 and 6.0) and all have similar problems, even though not at the same time. The App constantly and unpredictably loses connection to my Connector. Sometimes I can control it with all 3 devices, sometimes with just one or even none. Sometimes it shows wrong power status - even though it still CAN control the power, does switch the Connector on, shows the status as ON, but still refuses to play saying the Connector is OFF. It took me forever to update the library from my NAS source in the apps, but some of the devices list just a part of the folder list - ironically, the newest device with the largest RAM. Clean the app cache - and here we go, the list is full now. This app is a pain all the more because the Connector itself is a great WiFi player with way better sound quality than Google Chromecast Audio with its "high quality" settings activated, for example.

Great sound, good options, easy to use and setup. Only waiting for Deezer as a resource. Other than that keep up the good work!

I love the improvements from the latest update, app seems faster and the software power off/on is fantastic. Keep improving!

Widget is great :D please add Amazon music. Possibility of tagging files would be nice.

It's OK, but not great. Couple of suggestions: It would be good to have a persistent notification when any music is playing. This way, you can pause/play and skip tracks from anywhere, including the lock screen. In addition to that, I've been having issues with selecting the 'Line In' input: When switched, there is a very noticeable delay in the sound (I'm using it for my TV). However, if you then start a music track and pause it, the audio is in sync again. Please look into the above and I will update my review. Other than this, I'm a very satisfied customer (Raumfeld Stereo L). Thank you!

When I Try to Reset the raumfeld device With the app im ask to shut off my mobile data. I do it but cannot procede with the Reset because the app doesnt recognize mobile data is shut off :( cant Use the box wireless
