I'm enjoying the simplicity of the app, it's working well for me. One feature I find myself wanting is the ability to save certain foods with their calories by weight in a library, and then add the foods by weight when i eat them and have the calories automatically worked out. But even without this feature it's working great for me. Thanks!

plz plz plz add indian fast food in options like vada pav, pani puri, kachori etc also sweets like jelebi, gulab jamun, sonpapdi etc bcoz this food items are too difficult to control. Then it will be like best diet app.

Love this app. I use it to track what foods I'm eating and calories. Really simple, and it saves each food entry and portion so it's easy to put in if you eat the same things a lot.

A simple calorie counter but it does it very well. You can add a nutrient field to log anything eg daily activity.

I tried several food journal apps when I began tracking my nutrition recently. They all boast of extensive databases of nutritional data, but so much of it was unreliable that the database was actually a hindrance, and they weren't flexible enough to work exactly as I'd like. I like to track my food by time of day, rather than as part of a defined meal, for example. I found this one and fell in love with its simplicity and flexibility. Any app of this kind would require some time to set up to match my specific foods, since I couldn't rely on others' nutritional information, unspecified portion sizes, etc., so I may as well invest that effort in an app that works the way I do. I love that it seems to have a bit of intelligence about what I'm likely to select at a particular time of day, presenting my most commonly used items first.

My wife and I eat the same foods but not the same quantities. I would like to share/sync with her only the food items that we may add, so we each don't have to redundantly enter everything. Looks pretty good otherwise.

I miss the calculator feature in the input field which was quite useful in the first version. If this appears with the next updates i'll give this app five stars. I love the simplicity

The last app was much simpler and some handy functions of the last one are missing. Also the I liked the old logo more

Amazing. Works really well. Quick and easy to add your details. In the past I have done it with pen and paper. Now using this app it auto removes the cal and salt from the total. Thanks great app

Best app if you know exactly what you want to track. Simple. Easy to track macros, calories and water servings. Kudos to the developer. I have used your apps for a few years now. Thank you.

I have been using simple calorie counter for over a year and have lost 37kg. Yay! well i have a new phone and even though simple calorie counter AND this new app have a backup to sd card function neither of them will transfer my data to my new phone. SERIOUSLY over a year of weighing and googling food portion sizes and calories and I will have to go through EVERYTHING i eat and input the data manually. not happy! Can't think of anything worse than getting a new phone.

This food diary is excellent. The UI is nicely-designed so it's quick and easy to enter items as you eat them. A database of foods and calories makes lookup easy and you can modify the portions or calories to fit reality. Items you enter show up in an auto complete list which makes it easy to enter items you eat frequently. You can set a calorie target for the day and the app will give you a running total. Some nice data graphs allow you to see how you've been doing over time. I have always disliked the idea of a food journal but this app has changed my mind.

The only way I've ever been able to track my calories, protein and sugar. Every other app and method have been a huge hassle. This really works for me. Recommended for dieters, bodybuilders, and anyone else who cares about their health.

Best (simplest) diet diary. No fancy lookup tables or slow entries. Just enter what you ate and call it what you like - done. It remembers your entries for the next time you eat it so it's even faster. Charts, graphs and totals as you go through the day. Perfect.

Tried to input the recipes like idly, Broken wheat upma. Not found in the data. If it is added it will be an excellent app

Really straightforward and easy to use food diary. You can make it as simple as you want. It doesn't force to enter calories or nutrition information. But it's there if you want it. I love that it remembers your past entries. Makes entry a breeze!

Installed this today - just awesome - I've been looking for something like this for ages - so logical and user-friendly... and it even has a transparent 'calories remaining' widget, yaayyy!!!! Well done Martin Stone - a very well put together and helpful app - I wish all apps were this good. 10/10

It does what it says. Nifty little extras, but not bloated. Just for tracking your nutrition. No pesky coach, no nutritional advice, but very clever tracking with predictions stemming from previous days or your common combinations. Fast, slim and easy. Love it!

Great no-added-fuss app. Is it possible to get the ability to add to or alter our local copy of the "library" of foods?

Z70%

I love this app...It saves my previous input, so that makes it easy for me to see what I ate and how many calories I took...today after work, I wanted to add my calories....was shocked it has a problem and forced a shutdown for it...please, developersT_T fix the problem...Sign, daily user

A simple diary to record what you've eaten in the day. The textbox predicts regular foods beautifully in the right order. Export function works great too.

X70%

This app is great. It always works, it's fast, it's flexible and customizable. The Dev is responsive and improving the app. There are a couple features I wish the app had, but it already blows the other dietary apps out of the water so it's really just me dreaming anyway. Even still, those features might arrive at see point. 5 stars, very happy.

P70%

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I just wanted something very simple to keep track of what I've eaten each day and how many calories I've had. This does just that without all the clutter most of these apps have. Two features I really like is that there is a progress bar of how much I've consumed vs. how many calories I have left for the day. Also each of my day's entries are remembered so it makes data entry easy.

Super fast offline app. CONTROLS FAT directly with Calories STARCH and SUGAR macros. Visual COLOUR BARS replace numbers & math for calories and macros. Plan ahead by adding foods tomorrow. NutriData gives 9 world food databases (including Starch) to add missing food data. Lost 17 kilos. No cloud crap either.
