Looks cool but it keeps crashing whenever I try to look at pictures of any kind of bird.

Get it and never regret it. Well worth every penny. Comprehensive, user friendly and polished.

This is just what I needed. Sure, it's full of photos, comparisons, descriptions, range maps, etc, but it also has narrated video for each species. These videos show the raptors in flight, somewhat from a distance, with narration that brings to life the telltale field marks and flight styles! This is incredibly useful for field ID, moreso than any book I already owned.

This app is wonderful - I love raptors, and this not only tells you all the different ones out there in the US, but the pics are perfect for helping with ID questions. I'm very happy I spent the money to get this. I also have it installed on my Nexus 7 Tablet - for sitting down and studying it. That was a blessing!

11/4/16 Update 1.0.2 fixed the display issue. Back to 5 stars. Used to be a 5 star great app, BUT images and vocalizations no longer work on either my Nexus 5x android 7.0 or my Nvidia Shield android 6.0.1. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but still have same problem. There is no settings menu to direct where database gets installed. The app was last updated on Jan 25, 2016.

This is a fine app EXCEPT that it appears to have a serious bug on my Nexus 6P with Android operating system 7.1.1 (Nougat) The app fills the entire screen from edge to edge and there are no controls for going back, going to the phone's home screen, minimizing the app or closing the app. So, once I open the app, the only way I'm able to escape it is to reboot the phone. Obviously, not acceptable! I have tried all kinds of touching, swiping, prodding and poking and I get no controls, no way to exit the app. I can get to various app pages, such as Home, Introduction, Browse Species, and About Us but cannot escape the app. Please fix ASAP. I have free apps that work without a hitch. This one I paid $9.99 for and I expect better!

I have every book and app for raptor ID available, and this one takes the best of all and combines into one comprehensive guide that will always be at your fingers. Videos of flight, recordings of calls, pictures galore, range maps, and all the nerdy details I love, too. The best purchase I have ever made for raptor ID, no question.

This app is a ground breaking, next-generation field guide that establishes the baseline for future guide endeavors. The app is user friendly and takes very little effort to navigate through the plethora of solid and pertinent information. It is obvious that the concept and development of this app was well thought out to assist the end user in raptor ID regardless of the user’s level of experience. The HD images and video adds a new learning dimension to the ID process; a concept that I have never seen utilized before. Great job on a solid product!

Wow! Comprehensive and beautiful. Can't wait to use Raptor ID in the field, but I get the feeling I'll be watching the videos and studying raptors over coffee just as much. Thanks for helping me become a better hawk watcher.

Needs the option to allow it to be installed on an SD card and not take up all device memory. Otherwise outstanding.

If you are a raptor enthusiast or just looking to increase your knowledge on these families, this is the way to go. Get the books, for sure, and then get this app! The flight videos alone have already helped me a LOT. Fantastic work, Brian and Jerry!!

I can't say enough good things about this new Hawk ID app. They've given us so much information to work with. There's words, pics, videos with audio, diagrams, and more. They even break down each raptor into subspecies. It's everything a raptorphile could want and more.
