Site Checker is the powerful, easy to use, website monitoring tool for system administrators, web developers, designers, and any one else that wants or needs to check website availability from their phone or from our cloud-based monitoring solution.
Configure an unlimited number of sites to check for availability directly from your phone with stylish widgets and one-touch site-availability testing. Simply set a name and provide the URL to get started. For your most important sites, use our cloud-based monitoring service to continuously check your sites on an interval basis with push notifications directly to your phone if and when a status change occurs.
The pro version also provides the ability to share history results with your system administrators, developers, management, anyone.

Any status other than 200 is considered a problem and highlighted in the application and directly on the widget(s). Cloud-based monitoring allows your sites to be tested without draining your battery and with minimal data usage by utilizing push notifications.
When site tests are initiated from the phone, the favicon for the site is downloaded and presented on first run to provide a quick visual reminder of the site. The full content of the page is retrieved and kept in the history along with how long it took the page render.
Note: The lighter theme and ActionBar navigation is available on Ice Cream Sandwich devices (Android 4.0+).
Google Analytics is used for anonymous usage statistics and can be enabled/disabled from the settings menu.

This doesn't auto update results, so it looks like the app has been abandoned. It's a shame as it looks great, has a good widget and the cloud checking would be great. I would of brought the paid version. Shame.

This is a must have Android app for any web developer (or designer). It is not one of the many typical mobile apps out there, which would normally basically sends requests at intervals straight from the device. This app goes another level further, by utilising the modern day technology in cloud servers to actually let the cloud do the checking for you, and alerts you when there's a problem, pushing these alerts onto your phone when there is a problem with a website! By making use of cloud and pushing alerts, this app hardly uses up your devices' battery, letting cloud do most of the work, bonus! This app has a very simple unobtrusive user interface, and also includes a home screen widget. I had good support from the developers whenever I had a question, and even put forward future suggestions. In conclusion, I'd recommend this app to all web developers, web administrators, or whoever has an online presence. Perfect!

"Data connectivity problem" ... Connection and website are fine - it's only a problem when i try open the site through this app. It WORKS on 'URL Maestro' app.

The manual checking from the phone/tablet works OK, but the real benefit of this app is the cloud-based checking. This is the big difference between this app and similar ones in the app store. Initially, the cloud-based checking didn't work if the entire server went down. The app had been designed to detect problems with a site, rather than a server. However, the developer, who has been very helpful, has sorted this issue out. Needless to say, I have the pro version too!

Cloud saving was best feature but servers are mostlu down all the time and application crashes when tries to connect to them. No responce from developer after many emails. Project is dead.
